I was wondering if there is any new codexes rumoured to come out.

May the greater good be with you.

Since Chaos recently came out, I'm pretty sure Dark Angels are next. I've also heard Eldar and Tau might be sometime next year. I'm no rumor-monger, so I don't have any "official sources" or anything like that. Just what I've found on the intertubes... so it must be true.

They are definitely going to make codexes for most main armies like SM, Orks, eldar etc.
Its just a matter of time.

And we can all bet they will be hardcovers and cost $50. Yay.

Only the first 8th edition fantasy codex was hardback, and Chaos Space Marines is the first 6th edition codex. You're making a big assumption here.

Every fantasy army book since 8th has been hardback, 5 in all so far. All books going forward should be that way by all accounts. I am happy over hardback books so I dont see this as a bad thing.

With that said to the OP rumors point solidly to Dark Angels by the end of the year with some form of Daemon redo via WD or maybe a book early next year.

Does anybody have any idea on when the new dark angels codex will be released? All my local shops tell us that GW won't even give them a date, and to just check in every week.

Which ties in with a couple of Dark Angels novels that Black Library are releasing in either December or January (I think December)
