Nice that the hosts are back. Still unsure what I want based on playstyles but glad a guide is finally there

You mean the human (living) infantry for the Jutes?

If so, yes, I hope so too!

And *when* they finally appear and are funded, they'll certainly be available in metal too!

Remain calm, this is a Demimagus

Still a rough and the final piece may be different

Is that different than the other one we saw before, or is it the same guy?

Both illustrations were pretty cool.

Poorly lit photos of my ever- growing collection of completely unrelated models!

It is different - a different unit entirely!

(I think!)

The other one we saw was all human, this one is half dæmon.

Oh god my wallet.

I do hope it comes out a lot better than Erebius the Demiurion. Either the paint job doesn't do the model justice, or it really doesn't look right to me.

What do you reckon on the Yannick's Hennebo sculpts?

This one is still WIP

Paintjob as the primary problem it is then, though I think part of it is simply the style of the miniatures that I'm not too keen on.

I'll wait for my Erebius on Behema to arrive, and reserving final judgments for when I have the model in hand.

IMO, the original Erebius is one of the weaker sculpts. The cloak and face/horn and foot in the demon transition parts didnt come out so great (unless I got a mediocre cast). He still painted up OK, just not cracking any of my Mierce top lists. For what its worth, they used the Dan Cockersell's rider figure from the mount as the unmounted metal version, and the problem areas look cleaner on that sculpt.

My Clan Pestilens monks are all nodding their heads in acknowledgement of a nice looking concept.

Mierce may get me to pick upsome Vras yet...

Cool concept art, but I wonder what he is holding in his hand? With Darklands other nudish miniatures I can only wonder.

@Grefven - it's decomposing flesh.

Uh oh!

Golgog Goat-Eater...

He will be the equivalent of Alix for this project... he brings monstrous infantry with him; it'll be slightly different in that he will be able to bring different monstrous infantry in his warband, so you're not stuck with a unit of the same thing.

So Golgog, plus let's say... a Srónax... a Dyndraig... a Troll... all out for their own ends... (note, some monstrous infantry may not be able to be taken - Fiends, for example, don't care about money or working conditions, so they won't be able to be taken).

Again, you'll have to back this project to get any free monstrous infantry, and how much you can have depends on your current pledge. You'll still have to buy Golgog - he'll be £30 and resin only.

The artwork above is just a rough, but on Monday (I'm at the accountants all day tomorrow) I should have the full artwork and so will bring you a proper stretch goal with all the monstrous infantry you can go for.

That's an Oghu Stone weapon, by the way (he was Albainn).

Now that is not only just what this project 'needs' to kick it into gear, but an awesome concept in every meaning of the word!

It's a cool concept, only that the character wields the weapon wrong. As he holds the axe/hatchet right now means that he will hit someone with the side of the weapon and not either of the sharp or blunt head.

1) It is still a rough - maybe they'll switch it up a bit?
2) Even if they don't, it's still awesome!

I hope they change it Otherwise, for me, it's the little thing that can destroy a good concept.

I may as well just give them all my money now then, he looks very cool and is a great idea.

I'm interested to see which creatures will work for Golgog.

Rob already said that the infernii are out, but I'm guessing there will be a few more.

I'm guessing the Atlantean constructs will all be out.

Probably the undead of the Jutes, and I'm guessing their spiders too.

The brythoniaid chickenhawks might be out as well (I'm guessing anything that doesn't wear clothes or hold weapons is out).

The tree and peat beasts of the Erainn

Possibly the Ysian brutes & abberrants as well.

Perhaps the Hydrar, since 'they so crazy'.

It would be cool to have him bring wolves (sweorns pack), freawolves, werwulfas, & waelwulfs all in one group.

Dunno, I think more will be allowed than you think. Constructs, definitely not.

The odd Dreāguth, missing the life of adventure perhaps?
Don't think clothes matter, and anything to get away from those Seaxons! Érainn, probably right. Hydrar sound like perfect recruits! With brutes, I can imagine the Ysians getting the wrong tramp, turning him, and ending up with a more intelligent creature who subsequently legs it!

Good points Zed!

There might be lots more reasoning that creatures would join him that perhaps we don't know without more background on them. I guess we'll know Monday when Rob reports in.

@Grefven - he's just brandishing it, not swinging it. The brief didn't say "he's swinging the club". It would be a matter of seconds to swap his grip to swing.

I should know by now that nothing's ever good enough for Gref. There's always something wrong...

I'll be happy to finally have a legal game unit of draigs, rhinos, and snakes.

Hopefully kroks too, because why not?

Reptilian coexistence brought about by an absolute love of goat meat!
Golgog is making some serious inroads in reptilian race relations!

I just saw that as constructive criticism - much better to catch it now if you'd like to tweak it (totally up to you, of course, but now's the time to say something rather than once it's sculpted!).
