Hi all, I'm MrScience.

I figured I'd make an account here, you all seem like pretty cool people, and I've some really amazing painting done so I might as well see if I can glean some expertise from some of you.

Currently I've only got a ~1500-2000 point Dark Eldar army, I initially started playing Smurfs back in 2005/6 but eventually got bored/lack of money as a highschooler, and I didn't really have anyone to play the game with.

I plan on making up a Thousand Sons army eventually, and I've started work on my Sorcerer just to get back into the swing of things, not sure if I'll replace him with Ahriman or not.

Anyway, here's a few photos, a lot of it is still WIP.

The guys with the white/tan heads are my Trueborn. Some have suffered a little damage as a result of a hardwood poster mishap.

Hi, welcome to Dakka!

Your models are looking really good, especially like the freehand on the Ravagers.

Thanks, I plan on doing it for all of my vehicles, unfortunately I'm under a lot of time restrains courtesy of university.

Thank you for the welcomes, folks

Hey there MrScience, welcome to Dakka! Enjoy the time you spend here, and those are some great models. You're off to a good start!

Seeing a squad of veterens swoop in in a Vendetta, secure the area, deliver that math assignment, and extract within 2 minutes would be freaking sweet.

Ah thanks.

After seeing this video and early criticism of my first squad, I decided to try harder.

Ah ok, what year? I'm a fresher and I'm done with all of my lecturers by 12 each day so I guess I'm pretty lucky.

Welcome to Dakka! It looks like you already have a good handle on painting but you can pick up some great tips in the P&M section.

I'm a second/third year Mol. Genetics student. Was originally studying Laboratory Medicine, but it had ridiculous placement requirements that would have made it impossible for me to live away from home unfortunately.

Ah ok, I'm not really surprised that that would leave you with more work to do than me.

I could cut back on work, but I've had a string of issues with my education. I've had to force myself to cut back on hobby/video games unfortunately.
