Hey guys i love the idea of a total foot list for orks, the meta i will be playing against are Space marines, Grey Knights, Necrons, Tyranids.
Warboss, eavy armour, attack squig, power klaw, twin linked skorcha
Warboss, eavy armour, attack squig, power klaw, twin linked skorcha
Nobz x9
Nobz x9
Nobz x9
Boyz x 30, Nob, Boss Pole, PK
Boyz x 30, Nob, Poss Pole, PK
Boyz x 30, Nob, Poss Pole. PK
Army value : 1495
All but one squad of Nobz and Bosses are scoring units, i think with this many nobz ill be able to soak up a lot of firepower and be able to if not win contest every game. What do you guys think? Drop some Nobz and get some Deff dreads? get 2 Ork dakka jets? whats considered a competitive list without the dam Nob bikers, and battle wagon stuff, i mainly want infantry, is this going to ever work, i also read about Kustom force fields, it says guys in a 6'' range get a cover save, doesnt seem very useful pretty small radius for models to be under, or is it if an squad of 30 boys is even one model within the 6'' the whole squad gets the save?

Hello and welcome to the wonderful world of the greenskins!
To start off I would deffinately get rid of one of those nobz units and use the points to get a couple squads of lootas because your definately gonna need some AT besides the pk's. Im not sure If theres much of a point having those nob squads at all actually. I would probably get rid of them and get another squad of boyz, and then either more lootas or an artillery squad or two (preferably kannons), and that way you still have an all on foot army, but its a bit more balanced
And in answer to the KFF question, anything 6'' or within counts as being in cover, so for a unit to claim cover at least 25% of the unit must be within that radius. You may want to consider replacing the warboss's with BM's w/ KFF to give your boyz a little bit of survivability, but its your choice not mine and I wish you the best of luck!

Okay i went back to the drawing board and came up with this list,
Ork Warboss : Mega armour, Boss Pole, Cybork Body, Attack Squig
Nobz X 9, 5 Big Choppas, 2 Power Klaws, 5 eavy armour, 1 reg Nob
Lootas X 7
Lootas X 7
Boyz X 30 : Nob, Power Klaw, Boss Pole
Boyz X 30 : Nob, Power Klaw, Boss Pole
Boyz X 30 : Nob, Power Klaw, Boss Pole
Gretchin X 10 : Runtherd, <-- Only 40 points to sit on a home objective while Boyz and Nobz move in for the other ones.
Deffdread : 2 extra DCCW
Deffdread : 2 extra DCCW
I think this list is a little more balanced, i would have liked to get some kans in or zzap guns but this list looks alright i think, Nobz are my favorite unit so Gak lol

I'd take a Painboss, for the Feel No Pain and an Orderly that reroll has saved a nob. Buggies scare people ive noticed its only 35 for twin linked rokkits. Lootas are the best too. Stikk bombs if you know there is going to be lots of terrain. As in one of your opponents stacks the terrain heavy on the table. Your squad has to move as fast as the slowest unit so the warboss slows the nobs down to 2D6 not so good unless hes got some wheels. A Big Mek with a KFF will give your boys and Nobs a cover save instead of a T-Shirt save. This would be my list:
Warboss- Power Claw, Cybork, Attack Squig, Eavy Armour, Boss Pole, Ammo Runt
Big Mek- KFF, Eavy Armour, Cybork, Attack Squig, Eavy Armour, Boss Pole
10 Nobs- 1 is a Painboy- orderly, 5 Pwr Claws, 10, Cybork, 10 Eavy, 4 Uge Choppas, 1 Waaagh Banner
in a trukk
20 Boys- Nob Power Claw Bosspole Big shoota Rokkit Stikk Bombs (Slugga/Choppa)
20 Boys- Nob Power Claw Bosspole Big shoota Rokkit (Shoota)
10 Lootas
10 Lootas
2 Buggies with Rokkits
2 Lobbas (just for funzies)
I think thats some where around 1500. I go up against Tyranid all the time, Power Claws and Rokkits to take down the big ones. Burnas works well also. Grey Knights I have not one against them in a hand to hand fight but in objectives.
Good Luck and Happy Hunting.

I wouldn't bother with stikk bombs. You will be initiative 2 anyway and most people are ging before you. If you charge through cover you are still going last and nothing has changed. Save the points and get some upgrades or more boyz!
Also, Slow and Purposeful is different now. I don't know why everyone keeps making this mistake. Slow and purposeful moves at 6" just like everyone else. They simply may not run. So if you don't want to run, it is fine to use him in the squad. However, I'd say do 'Eavy armor and cybork. It's more useful and you can keep up to speed.

Well your new list looks pretty good man, the only thing you may want to consider is dropping the warboss and getting a big mek with kff because unfortunately you kinda need one if you want your deff dreads to make it anywhere before they get blown up. Plus it will give your guys some cover too.
Good luck!
