The blackface is not subtle. The girl with the annoying voice appears in blackface, front and center several times. I'm not certain if it's used as racism here or not.

Yo-Landi isn't blackfaced, she's sprayed black.
The drummer in the group is black in the video (portraying DJ HiTek) and the majority of the cast is black. Die Antwoord really isn't racist. I think she's portraying the panther in the beginning of the video as she's also wearing cat's eye contacts.

I'd say that she wasnt doing blackface, just meant to be portraying some wierd creature... Thing. (judging by the fact her contact lenses gave her dollar signs for irises) Besides, she was pitch black as opposed to a colour it's actually possible for skin to be.
