Originally developed the list for flyer spam, but i think it would do really well against pretty much any list.

Looks pretty standard fare, although I prefer a LoC instead of a Thirster. Oh and you may as well drop the astropath. As per the recent FAQ, he wont help your reserve rolls.

Really? Where does it say that? That's not good, but it might also clear up some points for me

I can't find anything in the faq's about the Astropath.

Can't blame you, it's tiny and on the last page of the rulebook FAQ!

A: No.

Drop the IG and a few Plague Bearers, add more screamers and flamers, and you'll be unstoppable.

I'm guessing you don't have the models for that

Thank you! So this doesn't affect my SW/IG Allies list since it is only the IG rolling the reserves for the 3 x Vendetta Squadron.

For your Daemon list I think it is soft without much punch. I have HQ: Fateweaver, BT; Troops: 4 x Plague bearers x 5; Elites: 2 x Bloodcrushers x 5 or 6 (can't remember exactly), 1 x Flamers x 5; Heavy: 2 x DP Tzeentch (Boon Spam!!!)
Target priority with this list is a no win situation for your opponent! I feel your list is to easy to Prioritize the 2 greater Daemons, and at 2k points there are many armies that can take Fateweaver down in a round of shooting, then you lose a lot of your strength. I play Fateweaver in a way that he only need to be around till round 3, and really he just needs to keep the fire off the crushers, BT and other DP for a round. If he does it for 2 rounds thats bad news for the other guy.

Anyways point being at 2k you need more meat in the list, and more things able to reliably deal with enemy flyers. Especially Necron flyer spam! Last tournament I beat a Necron list with 6 flyer that dominated everyone last couple of months! Destroyed 5 of his flyers with vector strike and sky fire.

One of the best things about Daemons in 6th ed is I haven't had to adjust my list at all. I play the exact same list I played in 5th ed lo. My poor space wolves have had to build defense lines with quad guns, and make some IG friends to not get ground pounded by things like the Necron flyer spam, or any flyer spam for that matter. We didn't even get the Stormtalon :(. On the fluff side having a SW army fighting with IG support like in the books is really cool, and I always wanted some Vendettas.

I am still a fan of 5 man Bolt Horror squads over the Plagues - but I have seen it go either way.

I also prefer a Lord of Change over the Thirster - the CC punch from the Screamers is significant already and it gives some more shooting.

I would not lose the Screamers and 2 units of Flamers as suggested above. I would consider losing 1 unit for the Crushers but that is it. Also, the screamers generally do the crushers job but are better at it now. This is from someone who has played crushers this edition, as well as, Screamers and Fiends.

With how deadly Screamers are the crushers job - to absorb firepower - just will not happen with how fast and deadly Screamers are.

Yeah, hmm i guess i will drop the astropath, and maybe put missile launchers on both the veterans and the command squad, to make them actually useful outside of just camping on a home objective. But i think that this list has a fair amount of bite, considering Nick nanavati, the daemons player who won nova, took this list minus the IG and BT and +2 DPs.

Plus i think brometheus hit it on the spot, I don't really have the models for a whole lot else. But i think i should keep the 'bearers, because they are tough as nails and can hold any objective

I don't think that's who Nova. I thought Tony somebody or another won Nova. I do know Daemons placed in the top 3, and he had more high priority targets then you have in your list i.e. more FMC.

yeah sorry, Nick came in second playing daemons, slip of the tongue. True, but he only had one more high priority target in his list, and didn't have another troop choice and a quad gun
