Started working on some Nurgle cultists. Used DV cultists, Empire Flagellants, GW and Mantic zombies and various heads from Maxmini and others. Not exactly the easiest figs to modify, but it can be done. Got rid of all of the silly Chaos ninja throwing stars...

rant:
GW gave us some great cultist figures, but sure did not give us much in the way of build options in the CSM unit listing. So much potential for conversion and cool figs was overlooked in the very boring, very limited codex listing.
/rant

Anyway, have fun...

Nicely done good use of the Flaggelants too, I've also used them as cultists for my Thousand Sons CSM army

I checked, turns out I didn't have any pics But I've done some now Here's a couple of pics showing them in various stages of completion (one includes a WIP Mutilator), there's a few more pics on my Facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/RockGeekJournalist

Very cool figs. Are some of the arms from Dark Eldar? I'm having trouble finding enough interesting melee weapon arms and am looking for more sources.

Indeed I had a shortage of auto/las pistols, and they were of a similar shape and size. Easily recognisable as a naff str3 pistol Have also used Forgeworld's Renegade Militia arms on some other cult members

Great, absolutely great! I love Papa Nurgle and chaos and think your conversions are excellent, especially on push fit figs.

Got a few more cultists converted and started on paint.

More Flagellant based. Scythes are from the hexwraith set

Paint colors are still evolving, especially the flesh.

How did you make the one model that's on fire. In addition, the torches your various models are carrying, they came from dark vengeance right?

Don't think so... As far as I know I have never owned a hell gun. There are three regular Cadian lasrifles in the rifle unit. Perhaps that is what you are seeing?

Not sure which model is "on fire"...

A bunch of stuff came from two boxes of Empire Flagellants: 20 bodies, lots of interesting heads, arms with and without weapons, the torches, some of the scythes.
There are some old Goliaths and Orlocks from the original Necromunda set.
Four heads were chopped off of a set of FW Chaos Militia Enforcers and added to these figs while the four Enforcer bodies got other heads.
Some bits form ebay include:
Some plastic Plague Bearer arms with swords and a few left arms.
Five Vampire Counts Hexwraith bodies/heads/flaming scythes.

Sure don't remember using one of those guns... Which guy in which photo? I will shoot a single fig photo so you can see it better.
