I was looking through the areas listed, and i figured instead of rez'ing a bunch of old post i would just repost one.

I'm looking for a game of Warhammer 40k in westchester county. I live in South-East NY, specifically Peekskill. I used to go to Dragon's Den, but the people that play 40k seem to have moved on. They're trying to push new game systems on me, but i refuse to switch, so i'm looking to play 40k somewhere else.

Check out Comic Book Heaven in the White Planes mall, people usually gather there on Fridays and Sundays, Sunday is the busier day, but you can usually catch a game on a Friday if necessary. Any other questions, lemme know.

Also " The Battle for Salvation" gaming group operates out of westchester in west Harrison about 5 min from comic book heaven. Club members frequent out of CBH on fridays and sundays as well. BFS nights are on mondays. toss me an message if you want more info.

We do still play. Have a pretty strong group going, and several tables with some pretty nice terrain. We've got a pretty eclectic group of armies, and not a lot of doubles. We usually meet around 230 on sundays and you can find a game there. Just wanted to keep this post up to date. PM me if you want!

To chime in on the conversation, I play at Modern Myths in mamaroneck ny. Bit of a ways south of Croton/Peekskill area however, we are have nearly 20 people at our meta all very versatile players with different armies and also have strong fantasy players. There are no "elitist" players that attend the shop, by elitist I mean shy away from new comers or weak players because they feel superior. Its a fun crowd we meet on Sundays from 12 - 7pm we encourage anyone to come out, we also host a yearly 40k tournament.

Back when I played a lot, I used to spend a lot of time there. Bishop and Irene are stand up people. Good crowd as I recall
