Yeah Mercer, it's a 5th Edition list that transferred over well to 6th so far. Granted, the Acolytes get murdered outside of their tin cans but it holds its own.

Thanks about the bat rep.

How is your friend finding the change from a mech skimmer build, which is heavy shooty to a foot slogging assault army?

I just don't see the point in building my list to be geared towards a single build, especially when currently I do not play against that build. No point worrying about that build when I do not have contact with it.

It was a up hill game tbh. I only got a flukey win.

They got murdered previously to makes no difference . I believe that in 6th all you need to do is add some anti flyer stuff and you're sorted. Time will tell if that remains true.

I would have argued this a while back, but you are right. I am finding that as I play my different armies, I am making minimal changes but I am having more fun.

Nice report, thanks!

I have yet to play with the new Chaos codex, so it's nice to get a feel for how it plays. Dark Eldar are also somewhat of a mystery in 6th, so there are some nice pointers in there...

One thing your battle does show very clearly - keep your eye on the objectives, don't be distracted b y a higher kill ratio!

Glad you liked the report.

The Chosen list isn't hte best, I admit that. I think Abaddon while killy, it just a to big price tag.

I am loving D.E in 6th, tbh they haven't changed a huge deal, which is great for them. Best thing is that they can deal with transport spam more easily thanks to glancing blasters etc.

Yes, always keep your eye on the prize
