Hi,
I play 40k orks and marines and am starting fantasy as well. I what to get vamps but not sure what models to get so could you recommend what to buy for an 800pt list?

I can see it now....Nids are now a collection of autonomous hive fleets there are multiple Hive Minds and they all war with one another in addition to everyone else. They speak to humans using telepathy, and they can now ally with Space Wolves as battle brothers, because reasons.
Tyranids talking to humans would be like you talking to your mashed potatoes or the probiotic in your kiefer drink. It is neither possible nor productive.
Inside my mind I pinched my nipples and savored his bitter silence.

Wait a month or 2 and rumor is Vamps are getting a holiday box set along the lines of:
1X Dragon/Terroghiest
1X Coven Throne/Mortis Engine
1X Corpscart
1X Vargheists/Crypt (3)
1X Zombies (20)
1X Skeletons 20
1X Ghules 10
1X Knights 5
1X Necromancer
Per Warseer should be around 200 Euros or $260 USD not sure what it is in your pounds but it will save you some. That there is a good start, proxy a few games with grave guard and more Ghouls and you can get a feel how you want to expand, more zombies are a must they are like rats for skaven you want a good amount for summoning.

This is actually a pretty good deal. About 100 USD give or take in savings. All you would really need would be more core ghouls/skellies/zombies. Any idea how many points approx this would be?

Things like "Shrine" I am just assuming is the Coven Throne/Mortis Engine kit, for the empire my guess would be the Luminark/Hurricanum kit but might be the war altar, I think some stuff gets lost in translation.
