I'd go for Nuln Oil or Agrax for DA.

Also consider Vallejo Game ink black green, I find it's a nice compromise when you really want a halfway house between nuln oil and one of the green shades

Paint them green, wash them black, then paint them green again, leaving the darker color in the recesses.

It's up to you what wash you prefer. I'd say get 3/4 of the AoBR marines and try them out side by side.
