I'm not enjoying this years event. The new map isn't very fun (and the boss is alot harder to kill than good old Monoculus) while the 666 MVM mode is simply too hard.

The prefect example of someone missing the point.
Do not underestimate the Squats. They survived for millenia cut off from the Imperium and assailed on all sides. Their determination and resilience is an example to us all.

Its just a shame that they couldn't fight off Andy Chambers.

It's a hard update, I've done it all.
MVM Wave 666 is stupidly hard though, you need to take a team to win on that.
I'm slowly just cashing out of this game now, going for some rare unsual, I have about 80 keys worth of stuff possibly more.
I've only spent £10.

Regarding MVM...
I find it hard to find a decent team for MVM. So many people just seem to quit if they lose one round. I've made it further just playing with my friends (3 of us!) than playing with any teams. And that's including with my friends in said teams, we suffer drag from these people!
Had a couple of good teams in the past and it was glorious. Brilliant fun, great sense of achievement. Nothing more fun than that shared victory. Nothing more annoying that someone who bails at the first sign of difficulty and sulkily calls everyone else 'noobs.'

MvM is fun with a nice team. we were at the max team size, and we kept failing on a wave but kept trying, every time with other classes. When we finally secured victory with engie spam, we tried the next round with the same tactic.. And it all started over again.
Awsome.

You know what's annoying? When you and a bunch of other guys are trying to kill merasmus, and other people start killing the guys trying to kill him!

It doesn't help that people try to hit Merasmus in melee and when people shoot him, the melee guys get hit.
The prize for killing Merasmus is lame though. I would have preferred a rerelease of the Bombonomicon.

Well, I finally got that damned sheep skull. Not impressive, I know, but at least its rare.
Now I just need to kill Monoculous and get that damned book, and I'll have all the rare (f2p) items.
