Subject: Can a Blessing Affect a Vehicle or Fortification?

Had a game where my opponent used a blessing psychic power on his Imperial Bastion. I can't remember exactly which power now, but it must have been a Main Rulebook power since it was clearly marked as a blessing.
I checked every rule I could think of, and couldn't find anywhere where vehicles or fortifications were excluded from being targeted by a blessing. The closest I could come was that a blessing must target a unit, and we couldn't decide if the Bastion was a unit since it was part of his FOC.
What do you say? And please back it up with a reference. I don't "feel" like it should work, but we play by the straight rules in my group, not preference.

It would help to know the actual blessing used, but Vehicles, yes.. (Blessings target a friendly unit(s)) pg 68..
Fortifications... while treated as a vehicle for most purposes, I don't think they qualify as a unit.

I don't think they're ever friendly are they?

Blessings target friendly models. The bastion is not friendly.

If they were then only one side would be able to "embark" in them, and that is simply not true...

Greebo had spent an irritating two minutes in that box. Technically, a cat locked in a box may be alive or it may be dead. You never know until you look. In fact, the mere act of opening the box will determine the state of the cat, although in this case there were three determinate states the cat could be in: these being Alive, Dead, and Bloody Furious.
