For example, a chaos LR model has 2 free emplacements where you can add a weapon, but the CSM codex allows you to add up to 3 weapons on the LR (combi-bolter, combi-flamer/melta/plasma and havoc launcher). Do you glue up this 3rd weapon anywhere on the model?

Also, I like to put the weapons on the vehicle unglued, so I can chose or not to use a certain weapon depending on the game I'm about to play. Can I put a 3rd weapon simply lying anywhere on the vehicle?

Sorry for my writing, I'm french and trying the best I can.

I don't see why not, personally I would mount the Havoc Launcher elsewhere as the combi weapons have proper mounts for the weapon positions, as for how to mount the havoc launcher, just use magnets, they are awesome.

Google "magnetizing X" where X is Razorback, predator, etc. There are good guides about how to do it.

Oh goodness, you've just made my day.

Magnetizing is defiitely the route to go. Can use a pin vice drill and a set of normal drill bits (turned by hand) to make simple recesses for disc magnets for this. Simple paint job and/or green stuffing will disguise it in plain sight.
