Honestly I dont see a reason not to magnetize the SR. Its an expensive model and you dont want to buy another one just to change weapon setup.

Absolutely agree. Magnetize it.

However that said, the most common build I see is MM/LC

Third to agree to magnetise it, I have two and will be magnetising the turret weapons and front mounted weapons.

Always run it with hurricane bolters imo, then the rest depends on what you are using them both for, I am liking the sound of typhoon missiles, hurricane bolters and Assault cannons, gives good anti air with the typhoon missile s8 heavy 2 profile and assault cannons and good anti horde with the s4 double blast from tyhpoon, 12 shots at rapid fire range with the hurricanes and 4 AC shots.

I did run one with HB AC and hurricane bolters which is very good anti horde (and 25pts cheaper iirc without the typhoon) and one with MM LC loadout which was pretty useless really against high AV maybe but it just wasnt good enough, the highest AV flier you will face is 12 iirc (other SR's dettas iirc)

2 with Typhoon AC and hurricane bolters are expensive points wise but they really do put the hurt on a lot of units, from PA to horde's (the HB AC hurricane combo puts out 19 dice rapid fire all twin linked hitting on 3's and wounding usually on 2's 3's and 4's

Plus you always have the blood strike missiles for anti fliers as well. Writing this convinces me to use typhoon hurricanes and AC

I'll add my 2 cents. Magnetize the hell out of the thing. Running 2 would be cool, but only if they're both magnetized. You'll need the weapon versatility and you dont want to buy a model for every loadout. That's crazy talk.

I play grey knights, but used to run mine Multi-melta, assault cannon. However have recently switched ti the lascannons and is working much better for me.

Last game it came on, blow up a land radier with the melta, and then machine spirited the lascannon to blow up a ball predator. Thats about 300 points worth of damage in one fell swoop of the raven

I usually magnetize my tanks but i just want to know what weapon to run with it the most

A TL assault cannon is superior anti-tank then a TL-lascannon. Its also superior anti-infantry.

The only advantage the lascannon has is range, which a flyer should never have an issue with.

I have the chapter house kit, on both of mine, which magnetises the turret, but always run a multi melta in the nose, as its only drawback is its range, which is totally nullified by the speed of the model.

I've found the A.C. to normally be first choice, I've tried the LC and not been that impressed. Yet to try the PC, as it can't shoot other fliers, but frankly I can see more in favour of the plasma on this platform than the LC.

Now the can fire 4 weapons a turn, I've found the missiles are a lot more useful too, when the bloody things hit!
