What do the dakkaites find works for this son of dorm?

I've found that a Catellan in Terminator Armour with TH/SS works nicely with a Terminator Command Squad (2 x Cyclone), although have only tested this at 1000 points

Mine is Marshal with Storm Shield, Thunder Hammer, Artificer Armour, Terminator Honours, Adamantine Mantle, and bionics. This guy has earned himself the nickname "The Immortal" in my groups as he has yet to fall on the field. He is pretty durable, and packs quite a punch. Minus the bionics and you have what most people run (Though some people trade the honours and artificer out for plain terminator armour, but ymmv)

The way I run him is pretty expensive. I run him with a Reclusiarch (Honours, pistol, sometimes artificer armour if I have the points), a command squad (Sergeant with honours, and power axe. Apothecary. Company Champion with honours and power sword. Either 2 flamers or 2 meltas depending the rest of my list) all with furious charge in a Land Raider Crusader. Given that they all have rage, it is one unit that destroys on the charge, but as I stated, it's expensive as all else, so you really need to support it. If it doesn't deliver, you aren't winning.

As for the model I use, I have kit bashed a few sets together. Sadly, the model has gone through quite a few weapon arms and is currently using an axe (As the hammer I use on him just doesn't look right with the pose and I haven't found a good hammer yet). I'll get a pic in a second though.

Thats a nice looking model, what sort of lists do you find working in 6th/ I'm only starting templars so asking lots of questions

Is it eternal warrior or just immune to instant death from double your toughness that adamantium mantle bestows?

That's a good question as I don't have my book in front of me. I thought it said Eternal Warrior, but it may say immune to instant death.

Marshal, TDA, TH/SS, adamantine mantle. In my more competitive list I run him with a command squad, TH/SS srgt, 2 PF, and 2 ACs, Tank Hunters. Very powerful squad.
