so say I have blackshard armour which is 4+/5++ and then I buy armour of bazherak the cruel 2+ and magic resistance (2)

Does that mean I can have 2+ save and a 3++ ward save?

also blackshard amrour is not magic so the "you can't have 2 magic armour thing does not apply"

I am new to fantasy

Waiting for my shill money from Spiral Arm Studios

What section is the Blackshard armor in?

If its listed under Magic Armor then you can't have it stack with the armour of bazherak because both are magic armor.

If its another type of magic item(just happens its name is armor) or a mundane piece of equipment then it can stack.

Edit: Blackshard armor is armor, as in a chest piece. And so is the armor of Bazherak, so the Armor of Bazherak will replace the Blackshard armor.

In the Casualty section of a Blood Bowl dugout

It depends on the type of item. Armour Saves, for example, stack (so, light armour [6+] and a shield [6+] would stack to make a 5+ save). However, Ward Saves do not, so you'd always use the best one.

However, in your case it looks like you have bought two suits of armour. Obviously, you can't wear both, but it's worth noting that a character can't have two of the same type of magic item of any sort either.

Armor saves stack so long as the items don't take up the same body part. Unless specified, all magic armor is "chest" armor, which the mundane equivalents are anything with the word "armor" in the name such as Light Armor, Heavy Armor, Full Plate Armor, Dragon Armor etc.

Cloaks, shields, gloves, helmets and such can all be added to a model with "armor" and the save bonuses will stack.

An example would be a Dark Elf Dreadlord with Armor of Destiny(5+/4++), a shield (6+) and a Sea Dragon Cloak(6+,5+ ranged). So he'd have a cumulative total of 3+ in melee, 2+ against ranged(any attack that doesn't happen in the CC phase) and a 4+ ward save.

Ward saves never stack. Where 2 ward saves are present, use the better of the two. Also, a slightly newer rule is that Regeneration and Ward saves can't both be used against the same wound. So if you have a 5+ Ward and Regen, you can only use 1 of them, in this case the Regen default is 4+ and therefore better.

The only way to improve a ward save is with the Mark of Tzeentch iirc. I don't think there is any way to improve Regen other than perhaps the VC spell or whatever it is that causes it.

Ward saves work against anything, Regen works against anything except Flaming attacks, and nothing works against anything that says "no saves allowed". There may be magic item exceptions, but they would be few and far between.
