Combat squad? On chaos?

Yeah, Combat Squad is a Loyalist only rule. If I may offer some advice, you are leaving three seats open in the Land Raider. Maybe find the points or move some stuff around so Abaddon can ride with more pals. Also, Chosen aren't Fearless, so you may want to buy some Icons of Vengeance. High leadership or not, you're asking for a bad roll on an expensive squad every time someone dies. Also also, your list is currently illegal what with the 4 Heavy Support choices you have. Condense the 3 Oblit squads into two and you should be fine.

Generally it looks good, my additional thoughts are:

The 7 and 10 chosen units appear to be illegal. I thought you could only take one of the options to kit out the 4 specialists in the squad (either guns or combat wepaons) have another gun on a 5th (assault/PG or heavy weapon) and a choice for the champion. Therefore the powerglove on a normal chosen chap and the plasma guns go against this; to make it legal you drop down to a single plasma gun.

Each unit of oblits is the equivalent cost of a well tooled up unit of havocs so I would be tempted to switch one for the havocs and find them some good cover.

Havoc launcher are wasted on the rhinos, why not go for the spikey bits which do damage on the charge.

The heldrakes are vulnerable at the 2000pt level for a combination of two reasons: 1. At 2000pts people will be kitted out for AA duty and 2. you don't give enough other dangerous targets to aim for - for example if your enemy is relying on S7 heavy weapons they have the choice of the rhinos (easy prey) or the heldrakes.

I too am running Black Legion, but I've been having a hard time justifying the cost of using chosen instead of CSM. They do almost as good for a lot cheaper.

The only combination that I like is a squad of Chosen in a landraider with abbadon, with a couple extra powerweapons and the mark of Slannesh. 6 to 8 power weapon attacks outside of the champion can be incredible at inititive 5 as long as you dont run into force halberds...

You are half right. You can have six heavy support choices if along with meeting the 2000 point threshold you take a second FoC, with a second HQ and two additional Troop choices. That is a minimum of 2 HQs and 4 Troops. You only have one HQ and 3 Troops.
