Heres my issue i ordered 2 foam trays from gift for geeks on the 29th of september. They shipped one of the foam trays as one was out of stock which is fair enough and they stated the second foam tray would follow shortly. We are now on the 13 of november and still no second tray. I have been checking the website over the last few weeks and it states the tray i am waiting on is in stock and avialable to order. So i gave them a long email explaining this and the response i got was we will email you when its dispatched that was over a week ago. Has anyone had similar problems.

I hate lance weapons and so does my land raider

Here is a link to my new ebay store miniatures of the millennia. We buy and sell second hand war gaming miniatures mainly warhammer 40k. There is not much listed at the minute as we are waiting on ebay to lift there limits on us and then we have loads to list. Take a look

I havnt dealt with the company you mention. But I have had simular expierences in the past.

I believe its a POS software issue. If you can call them and show them the stock vs order I bet they will discover that the POS has it as ordered and shipped, Thats most likely why its back in stock but not out to you yet.

Hopefully that helps, and its a case of cheep software vs malitious intent.

I ahve used thema coupe of times and had no complaints, so in my experience thsi woudl seem to be a glitch.

but sayign that i have only used them for model kits and paints - never for foam.

A friend of mine ordered something and they put triple the order value on the customs declaration form so he got hit with charges from Canada customs when he shouldn't have. It was really strange-- a $20 order marked as worth $60. He raised the issue with them and they just maintained that he was responsible for his country's customs charges and denied making any such mistake.

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better.

I have had them forget about sending something before as it was out of stock at the time of purchase, what they say they have in stock does not mean they have it in the store it is what they can get as their brick and mortar store shares the stock with the webstore and is not updated that much, I just sent them an email and they sent it the same day with an apology, they messed a friends order up with returns and payment but was sorted out and they gave him an extra 10% off voucher, overall a good company that can be a little slow at times, emailing them is the best thing to do.

P.S I cant complain about their shipping as if they gak your order twice due to it not being in stock the postage costs come out of their pockets for the second lot of stuff sent, not sure if any other companies do that.

I don't know what the situation is in Canada but in the UK you would be able to successfully appeal this by presneting the details of your original order/recipt showing it had been overvalued

(exception would potentially be second hand goods where customs is allowed to use discression to stop fake 'sales' of expensive goods for next to nothing)

I'm from Canada, you can dispute the customs charges (I was once charged duty on a value of $500 for a $50 item, took a couple weeks but I got a check for the difference from the taxman). However, that was caused by some customs numpty ignoring the customs declaration and the invoice inside the box. I'm not sure how well it would go trying to dispute the value the sender put on the form.

Similar experience with them; shipped half an order, two weeks passed and I heard nothing further. Shot them an email and it was mailed out the next day.

Used GfG a few times no problems sometimes they can be a little slow, if any problems have arose they have been very quick to resolve them to my satisfaction.

I have bought from lots of different UK suppliers, all fairly recently and have had a very mixed experience, I think GfG is one of the better ones.

I currently have some problems with them. Ordered 3 Infinity miniatures from them, after asking if they have them in stock.
That was on the 14th of November. The order has mot been dispatched yet. I also sent them 4 emails and none were answered.
I'm thinking about doing a chargeback next week...

I recently bought a PACK 216 through them and got it pretty quickly, with free international shipping to boot. Their stock looks quite outdated though (they still show the old PACK 1520, for example) so I can imagine that the staff aren't exactly on top of things.

The old meta is dead and the new meta struggles to be born. Now is the time of munchkins.
