Well, after stopping the whole miniatures painting thing a few years back I've decided to get back into it.

I never did the tabletop gaming scene but did thoroughly enjoy painting the miniatures. It was extremely relaxing in a certain way and allowed me to shut out everything else and focus for the time being. I guess the reason I stopped before was money, and getting hooked on PC gaming, but a lot has changed since then!

Considering I've been working full time, and PC gaming is becoming slightly more boring by the day, I figured it was time I pick up an old hobby of mine that would keep me occupied in all of the free time I have.

I never really had a dedicated 'army' that I had stuck with painting, and mostly skipped around and just painted what I liked and thought looked neat. This time around I feel like I should focus more on one faction, and am going with something I feel I will enjoy painting a lot of, Grey Knights.

I still have all of my old painting stuff, but since it's been atleast over 2 years since I last painted anything, I'm just going to start completely fresh, brushes and all (obviously paints more than anything).

I'm starting small to begin with, and will be buying the 5pc. Grey Knights standard infantry set and Grey Knight's Brother Captain Stern as a 'leader' type figure for fun.

I'm very happy to be starting up again and can't wait to get my models/paints/brushes in the mail. Since I work at a hardware store I'm going to create a painting station from wood for myself, instead of spending 50$ and up for some plastic pre-made stuff.

I'm the same way with painting, like to just buy whatever looks fun to paint! Started recently focusing on one thing at a time though. Good luck and can't wait to see your knights!

Good idea to start small when getting back into the hobby.

Decided to add in some Grey Knight Terminators as well, I should have plenty to keep me busy now!

I'm opposite to everyone! I can't stand painting but I love making conversions and playing!
