Hey Dakkaites,
I have a question which involves material taken out from Honour Guard (Gaunt's Ghosts #4) so if you haven't read it or plan on reading it don't keep reading.

Spoiler:

Near the end of the book, there is a huge storm in the sky above Hagia (the planet in question), the storm is warp induced and is basically the warp leaking into the material realm. It is caused, according to the book, by a huge chaos fleet that has created something like a bow wave (the wave infront of a ship at sea) of warp and this has caused it to leak out. My question is, how big would a fleet have to be to create this effect, and can factions other than Chaos (which is the incoming fleet) create this effect as well?

Thanks for the replies.

It would be a big fleet, plus it would require some deliberate meddlings from Chaos itself to cause it. Although if the fabric of reality was already weak at that spot it could easily happen on its own.
