Subject: [FoW Alternative] Tank games?

So Ive picked up a couple boxes of Plastic Soldier Co 15mm tanks, and Id like to find a game to play with them...that isnt Flames of War. Id like something along the lines of Battletech or Mech Attack but for tanks. Something generic with construction rules would be great, but even pre-made stats would be OK.
Anyone have any ideas?

I would suggest the following two rulesets
Blitzkrieg commander.
A good wargame based around the basic command structure found in Warmaster. It's also the foundation for the games Cold War Commander and Future War Commmander.
http://www.coldwar-commander.com/default.aspx?Area=BKC
It's available in a full color version or a LULU B&W version.
Very comprehensive pre-made stats are included for everything from Spanish American War through WW2, though I think there is a unit creation mechanic as well.
I've only played FWC, but it's a good game and my friend says the same about BKC.
Panzer 8.
Panzer 8 is an ultra fast-paced wargame. At only two pages, you might end up house ruling a few things, but we've played the sci-fi variant and like it alot. It's a great way to get alot of units on the table quickly. Sample units and a construction mechanic are included.

Blitzkreig Commander is good but, IMHO, not really what you are looking for. It really is a combines arms game. Tanks alone tend to be a little generic.
I have not played the Panzer8 system, although it looks Fast and Cheap, which has a quality all its own.
If you want a "TANK" game I would suggest :
http://www.wargamevault.com/product/60348/Panzer%C2%AE-Miniatures-Rules-Base-System?term=panzer
It is very well detailed and concentrates on armoured warfare very well. The mechanics are fairly simple but the application and detail of each tank is incrediable. With all the expansions you can do any part of the war.
It is my personal favorite system. So much so I bought the minis game and expansions and the GMT chit game using these rules. Originally it was a Yaquinto board game, back in the early 80's. Avalon Hill put out to Modern version of the core mechanics, MBT and IDF. While one would think that a system that old would show signs of its age, i assure you it does not.
Just my thoughts.

Thanks for the replies. As soon as my wife gets the damned printer to cooperate Ill have a copy of Panzer8 to test, it looks like exactly what I was looking for.
Ugh, one printer is broken, the other out of ink...and Im broke until Friday...guess its convenient that we wont have time to play until Friday night anyways.
Please feel free to throw up any other ideas...Im always up for checking out new rule sets.

I'm developing a sequal to MechaWar that includes combined arms forces of tanks, infantry and artillery to go alongside (or independent of) your mechs. If you'd be interested in playtesting them for armour-only forces, drop me a PM.

Also look up Mein Panzer. It is a micro-armor set made by a friend of mine.
