HI I'm really interested in this mini (for my DE and the painting challenge! ) Could anyone give me a rough size comparison as I'd like it roughly 40k size?

I painted one up about a year ago, it's the appropriate scale for 40k, maybe a tiny bit bigger, but not easily noticeable. The mechanical component is on the large side, but you can get it on a 40mm base if you're creative.

Here's a blog on Dakka (not mine!) that has, in the 4th post, a Steamborg Executioner next to a Games Workshop Vostroyan. FWIW, Vostroyans are a tiny bit smaller in scale than Cadians and Catachans.

It is a pain to put the legs on. I had to heavily greenstuff them on mine, but it is easy to cover that up as they're on the underside of the model.

Here's the one I did. After several attempts to put the legs on I ended up with one way too high, so I stuck a rock under it.

Isnt that the rule of thumb anyways?
