So i am playing my friend some time this week, and it will be my first time against his blood angels! Not really competitive just wanting to throw down our armies so i'm pretty sure he will have a lot of jump infantry and probably a nice blob of death company if i had to guess.... but here is what i think will be fun to play against my new green tide!

360 shots per turn....that's a lot of Dakka! I just hope your opponent doesn't mind you taking 45 minutes for your turn.

Now if you really want to put the fear of god in him, replace some of those boyz with Lootas and bury him in a mountain of dice.

Oh my gosh that would be hilarious!! Sadly i have 8 lootas hahaha! its weak, but some day i will work up something to get a lot of them! Good idea though, ill bury him in a mountain of bodies!! WAAAAGH

Ill say to be ready for them to assault you. I play Blood angles and they can rip up a normal boy squad in one turn. I used deep strike and a few vanguard. they helped. My fuso librarian dred took out an Ork war boss in one assault phase.

The amout of fire you will put out at him is just crazy.

If he is running Assault Marines, he can't touch you. You out shoot them, so they'll lose numbers before they assault. He can't counter charge because you'll tear him up in overwatch, and he can't out run you without being useless. Death Company are only moderatly more useful as they have an extra attack, Rage, FnP and can Rapid Fire before they charge.

Razorbacks would be moderatly useless unless he tailors them against you, and even then you can counter this by grouping your squads close enough to counter charge the flamers. Otherwise, they don't have the fire power to take out an entire squad before the end of the game.

What scares me with your list would be Baal Predators, as they can put out 10 shots a peice each turn. Vindicators as they're Large Blast S10. Blood Talon Furioso Dreadknoughts, as they can keep chaining attacks and take out a full 30 man Mob before you can attack back. And Lastly, Unleash Rage, Divination Librarian with a squad of 10 Lightnining Claw Terminators, followed by Corbulo. 2+ armor, FnP, rerolls all over the place, and 30+ attacks. If you run into Baals and Vindicators try and box them in fast and assault. You can still glance on the charge and Nobz with Klaws can kill easy. If you run into a Furioso you have two choices, run away or hope you can kill it with your Nobz/Boss. Nothing else will work with your list. And as for the Terminators, keep your distance and shoot. They have no range and there is nothing wrong with moving backwards to stay alive.

Looks like with would be fun to see this unfold. I've played similar match ups, but we would tailor against each other and it would just be crazy ( He'd bring Nob Bikers to kill Assault Squads. I'd bring Flamer Baals to counter the Nob Bikers. He'd bring Lootas to counter the Baals. I'd drop pod Furioso's onto the Lootas)

Warboss in megaarmor costs 100 points and comes with tl bigshoota, pk and 2+ armor save. If you drop a big shoota and bosspole you could get better warboss.

I thought about that for the warboss too, i have been unsure about what hq to throw in there. Also neither of us are tailoring at all really just trying different crazy stuff so we will see how it goes!

I would say keep the warboss as is. His pk and stats are fine for a boy squad, but take flash gits. You heard me- flash gits. Take a squad of 10 with pain boy. With the ignore cover, and random ap, you have a good chance to roll ignore marine armor shots. Their fire output is decent, their hit rate is ok as well, but it really adds onto some strength 6 random ap 2 shot weapons that are needed and of course they can still charge! go smack em after you done popin der eads. I would say trade 60 boys for the fully decked out squad. Dont take the gets hot bs, just shooter, stronger is optional, and a big mek with a KFF will be more then worth its weight in gold to you. I suggest the big mek, with bp and kff. Done 90 pts. Now you got a warboss, 10 flashy lads, 120 boys~ but that 5+ cover save will help you ridiculously against his shooting.

Flash gits!! hahah almost forgot about em! hmmmm that is definetly something to think about.... i was actually thinking about switching out to take a 15 man tunk busta squad, i think that would be pretty funny too. plus i dont have any good way to distinguish the flash gits, as in i do not have any models i made into flash gits.
