Just recently found these models and I think they're gorgeous. Any chance we'll see this game get the Kickstarter treatment. I'm currently looking at spending the cash to grab 1 or 2 models, but lord knows kickstarter will have me depositing my whole paycheck in their company. Any ideas or discussion on this yet?

The minis do look great, but isn't this an established line?
I don't understand where kickstarter would come in?

Apologies for talking positively about games I enjoy.

GW Rules Interpretation Syndrom. GWRIS. Causes people to second guess a rule in a book because that's what they would have had to do in a GW system.

This exactly.
They could swap materials, change boxing, get a new version of the rulebook, etc. It's what every other company did to let me spend all my money on them.

I'm not sure you understand what kickstarter is actually for... If you _really_ want to spend a lot of money on their minis, I recommend going here.

If they did a kick starter, it should probably be for a "second edition" that is just a minor update, making sure all the cards have the latest errata in them and perhaps some resculpts. I'm sure there's enough there for a new project to justify a Kickstarter. Maybe not to everyone, but enough to satisfy Kickstarter itself (which is not hard).

Balance in pick up games? Two people, each with their own goals for the game, design half a board game on their own without knowing the layout of the board and hope it all works out. Good luck with that. The faster you can find like minded individuals who want the same things from the game as you, the better. |

And you do?
So far what I've listed as possible paths for them have all been exactly what other incredibly successful companies have done. (See Reaper and Relic Knights)
Edit:
So far, the best option is looking like Miniaturemarket for a purchase, was just curious if there was any talk of this yet.

I am inclined to agree with frozenwastes about it needing to be for a new edition. The models are top of the line but the rules are a C or B- right now and translations can cause odd errata to pop up for model's cards.
There are some signs that AT might eventually see a kickstarter however. Cypher just had their first kickstarter for a deck of playing cards so they are getting themselves used to the proccess. In my opinion this is a very smart move on their part since a very small compaany could be crushed under the weight of a huge kickstarter if they didn't know how to fulfil all the orders.
From what I understand Cypher does have an issue with the Anima property in that the creators they license from like to keep some creative control over what gets released in the line. This is good for quality and consistency, but slows down releases. The RPG books for Anima are releasing extremely slowly partially because of this. If Cypher can iron out their approval and translation process They will be primed to have AT explode.
EDIT: I'm not really sure Anima models need to change materials. Some of the larger models like Morrigan or Grimnorium could have large resin parts for their bulk, but the slender and intricate builds of these models lend themselves well to metal and Cypher is doing a good job for keeping prices in check for a line of metal character models.
