Dead Men Walking is one of the best WH40K books IMHO.


Personally I would kile to see either a Tau book or a non-Imperial/non-Chaos Human book. Some break from the overemphasized grimdark would be refreshing.

I thought Cadian Blood was the best of them.

Personally, I didn't really care for Dead Men Walking too much. I don't really like the newcrons, though, and I thought they didn't really do much with the DKoK to make them at all interesting.

Agreed on both points and we could do both with a novel about the Sons of Medusa. In fact, I may try my hand at writing a short story about how the Moirae Heresy affected their outlook on the Badab War.

I would like to read about Orks the little available books for them were great reads and allows authors a lot of creative ingenuity. It could be a story about a boy turning into a boss, about a mek-boy who ends up making a awesome but shoota and then having the warboss take it but he has his loyal lootas or burnaz help him kill the boss and get his shoota back and he ends up as boss you can do anything with orks.

I would like to read about the Legion of the Damned. A short, first-person story from their POV would be so funny. Or an Ork one.

Seriously though, I want to read about the travails of Ollanius Pious.

Reading a story about Zahndrekh and Obyron would be fun.

I would like to read a book about Cypher.

I got through two chapters of Sons of Dorn before I put it on my "Sell at Half-Priced Books" pile. The only BL book I've done that too, and I'm a huge fan of Dorn (Black Templars and Crimson Fists armies).

I'd like to read about Sigismund after the Imperial Fists are finally split into various chapters and the initial Black Templar Crusade.

Its not even about them. They show up litterally in the last 5 pages of the book and thats it. For a book named after them, they strangely have nothing to do with the book

Go read Goto's Dawn of War series...Angelos all but romances Macha (really OOC, having played the DoW games) throughout the series. Still not sure if they were worth buying or reading
