As the title states I am playing a only semi-competitive Emperors Children/Slaanesh army in my gaming group and am wondering what advice/suggestions/critque everyone has to offer and what you guys think I should add to bring me up to 2000.

Hq:
-Lucius the Eternal...165
-Sorceror (lvl3)...110
-The Masque...100

Troops:
-8 Noise Marines
-VotLW, CCW, Doom Siren, Icon...207
-6 Noise Marines
-5 Sonis Blasters, 1 Blast Master...157
-6 Noise Marines
-5 Sonic Blasters, 1 Blast Master...157
-10 Daemonettes...140

Fast:
-Heldrake
-w/ baleflamer...170

Heavy:
-3 Obliterators...210
-Forgefiend
-w/ 2 ectoplasma...175
-Daemon Prince
-MoS, Aura of Acquiescence, Unholy Might, Iron Hide, Breath of Chaos...175


Total: 1766

Approx 250 points left to mess around with. Any ideas would be appreciated

Battle Barge Impossible Fortress

Would suggest more Daemonettes- They are best when throwing lots of dice as a big unit and looking for those 6's. The best part is that they benefit from the 2 powers your Sorc can have and you could possibly throw a Endurance or Invisibility on them if your Sorc rolls well.

I would also run Drakes in pairs. They are just... Just awful for the enemy.

Thanks for the advice! I have put a lot of thought into both of those two units in the past, my only qualms being that the daemonettes as of yet haven't really done a whole lot for me in my games (except hold an objective or take fire so far), and the heldrake I currently have took me approx 24 hours to paint and i'm not sure if I want to invest that much time painting another one any time soon lol.

They need to hit hard and with at least 12-15 models when they charge or get charged.

Yeah I hear you on the heldrake. It's a brutal model, my friend.

I'm looking to build a similar list. A couple of things about your list I would do/change.

1. Blast Masters are only available per ten Noise Marines. Not sure if a unit of 6 can take one.
2. Add another Herald of Slaanesh with Paven.
3. Give Daemon Prince Paven.
4. Give Sorcerer Burning Brand, and run him with Lucius and the 8 Noise Marines. Shoot stuff and wait to get charged. 3D3 Ap3 wounds.
5. Run Rhinos with Havoc Launchers. With Paven grouping things, and the number of template weapons, extra str 5 blasts with a long range seems to add to the list.

This is what I'm planning to run for my list. Looks good and fun.

Thanks! Just on your first point my interpretation of the rule is that you may have only one blast master for every ten noise marines meaning I can take one at 5 if I wanted but not a second until 11. Everyone in my gaming group has agreed with me on this and at my local gw they say that's what it's meant to be (especially since the noise weapons come in packs of 6) so that's how I'm going to run it for now until its clarified. You may very well be right but as I'm not playing in any tournaments or anything ill leave it how it is until it's in the F.A.Q.
I like your other ideas though and I am seriously considering adding more daemonettes and possibly your other ideas as well. Thanks for the input!

Yeah. It seems everyone has a different interpretation of the Blast Master ruling. As long as your gaming group is good with the way you have it, I wouldn't change it.

ok just a thought, because this would be really funny...Have you ever considered rolling all 3 dice of your sorcerer on the Biomancy table and praying to the dark gods for the relentless FnP power in a squad of 20 noise marines?

I usually take all three powers from telepathy and so far it has worked out very well for me, psychic shriek has killed 2 5 man deathwing squads in a single game before plus i just love the hallucinations power when i get it.
