Alright, I have been experimenting with a 1500 Ork point list, and it has been BRUTAL so far. What do you guys think?

2 Squads of 3 Killa Kans:
- Rokkit, Rokkit, Big Shoota
- Grotzooka, Grotzooka, Scorcha

2 squads of Lootas:
- 12 Lootas, 3 Meks w/ Kustom Mega-Blastas
- 12 Lootas, 3 Meks w/ Kustom Mega-Blastas

4 Deffkoptas
- TL Rokkit Launchas

16 'ard Boys
- 15 Shootas
- 1 Rokkit Launcha

20 Choppa Boys
- 2 Big Shootas

Big Mek
- Shokk Attack Gun

5 Nobs
- 'eavy Armor
- Big Choppas

Warboss
- Cybork Armor
- Power Klaw
- TL Shoota

1500 points

I normally have the Warboss go with the Nobz, the Kans out in front (Grotzookas and Scorcha next to closest "squishy" enemy unit), and the Lootas stay behind and blast everything to hell!

I thought about fielding an Aegis D. line, but I learned my Lootas can (statistically) take out a flyer Easily, especially with as many shots as I throw at them.

From previous experience, my Lootas also annihilated Most tanks turn one (again, statistics), and the Meks are there for when groups deep strike (say, Terminators).

What do you think?

whats with the meks in the loota groups? unless youre in a wagon they really dont do anything. That one shot maybe stronger, but its not very likely to hit and usually if you actually need it you already lost most of your army anyway.

An ork with an idea tends to end with a bang.

Avoid the mega blasters the deffgun is all you need. If you really want the Blaster try Zzap Gunz so you get the same effect in a small artillery unit. I would also add in more boyz to make some bigger mobz because holding objectives with your list would be difficult. I love the big mek and use him as well with the shokk gun. You could probably get away with a weirdboy warphead the way you have your list posted as well. The deffkoptas are a wildcard unit I"m not sold on. Sometimes they rock and sometimes you wasted 200 pts. (i found keeping them in reserve helps) and this could be a way for you to lose some points to add more boyz. 24 lootas is a beautiful thing (my 1850 list fields 30). Good luck and blast away.

Lootas can pop flyers better but they can't do it on the turn the flyer arrives while the quad gun can. They also can't score in any missions. A good idea would be to take a squad of 10 grots and an Agies with Quad Gun. Put the grots on the gun and keep them holding an objective at the same time. Put Some Lootas behind the Agies as well. Make them in Squads of 10 so they can go to ground and you have a solid back field fire base that can deal with most things and is quite tricky to move. (2x Squads of 10x Lootas, 1x Squad of 10 grots with Runt herd and the Agies and Quad gun will only set you back 440pts)

On deffkoptas..best use is in a group of 5 with two buzz saws or solo with a buzz saw ..( I often take two deffkoptas each a suad of its own with buzz saw ) its either killin or dead ..no runaways..

I think your kans should all be the same weapons. The skorcha is a big waste of their better BS. Might split them in to 3x2 squads.
2 squads of Lootas:
- 12 Lootas, 3 Meks w/ Kustom Mega-Blastas
- 12 Lootas, 3 Meks w/ Kustom Mega-Blastas
Drop the Meks. That many shots can still kill terminators. The blastas will probably not hit anyways. They will be more then likely getting a 3++ anyways.
4 Deffkoptas
- TL Rokkit Launchas
I like these, but I agree either 5 man or singles are probably the best way to go. I can see 2 man squads working.
16 'ard Boys
- 15 Shootas
- 1 Rokkit Launcha
Drop the ard boy for regular boys. You will end up with a lot more boys. I don't like mixing rokkits with shootas. The rokkits are to take out tanks which the shootas can't do. Keep it Bshootas or shootas only. Where is the Nob? Should be one with at least a boss pole.
20 Choppa Boys
- 2 Big Shootas
Pretty good. Might put the Rokkits in here, but I use nothing but shootas so I couldn't say for sure.
Big Mek
- Shokk Attack Gun
Should be a KFF instead I think. It isn't as good as it was, but still well worth the points to help the kans survive longer. Not a fan of the SAG too.
5 Nobs
- 'eavy Armor
- Big Choppas
Not sure if they all need BChoppas. Should have one Klaw if you ask me. Banner could be nice as well as a Painboy. Don't forget the boss pole..
Warboss
- Cybork Armor
- Power Klaw
- TL Shoota
Pretty standard.

All in all not bad, but I think some changes could make it better. Good Luck!

I am curious as to what you army list is? You say you don't win with Orks so what is the problem? Is it you or your list or your meta?

^^^ yes phatonic, I agree with that sentiment.
The main issue I see is too many expensive units so not enough guys overall. Autocannons, HBs assault cannons all eat 'ard boys for breakfast so would loose them. And yes, shootas and more shootas, orks are actually quite good at the short range firefight due to how many shots they can churn out. Nobs squads are not that fabulous but if you're running them, follow balsak_de_mighty's advice. The kans really wont last long at all, the KFF mek helps a little but I doubt they would be able to do a huge amount. The only time I use them is with the kustom megablasta. Now I've effectively got an instant killing plasma weapon that will hit. Plus kans are rather poor in many melee's for a walker.
But when I see 'shooty orks' list, I think where are the flash gits? Yes they're expensive but chuck on more dakka and shootier and they can give a bit of punch, of course they also require a mighty steed to look down upon all the lesser beings as they blitz away.

If your attack is going too well, you have walked into an ambush

The easy way is always mined
