This is my Raicho. I'm hoping that it will be out in January, but I'm not holding my breath...

With that said, I think I've finally figured out why it's taking so long. We've been aware for awhile that they are resculpting the Alguacils, Intruders, Mobile Brigada, and Hellcats to better fit the current aesthetics of the Nomad line.
We know that we're getting an Alguacil boxed set, so that is maybe pushing the Corregidor starter box back a bit as they ensure everything is "in proportion".

With the fact that we have a confirmation that we will have at least Wildcats in the Corregidor starter box, looking at it in comparison to the ALEPH Steel Phalanx boxed set I think we can expect the following components:
Wildcat with Heavy Rocket Launcher OR Boarding Shotgun+Deployable Repeater
2x Wildcats with Combi Rifle+ Light Flamethrowers
Resculpted Intruder with the now iconic Tomcat styled Combi Rifle+Light Flamethrower
Resculpted Mobile Brigada with Boarding Shotgun or MULTI Rifle+Light Flamethrower

Now it's just a waiting game to see if I'm right though.

Mobile Brigada w/ a boarding shotgun would make more sense, since that's a piece that doesn't have a model yet. Your other picks all seem spot on.

Of course, If we do see the MB w/ Multi rifle in the Corregidor starter, then maybe they'll add a boarding shotgun to the MB in the basic Nomads starter when they redo the Alguaciles. We shall see.

There's no guarantee that a redone Nomad starter will even have Alguaciles in it.

It's entirely plausible that a redone, generic Nomad starter will have very little in the way of "faction specific" things like Mobile Brigadas or Alguaciles and instead have a large amount of generic stuff/models from the base Infinity rulebook which have yet to see any models.

I would not be surprised to see Securitate and Spektrs in any "redone" generic Nomad starter, if only so that they can start filling out the Tunguska starter before the next book comes out.

Nomads were my first Infinity faction, so they remain a top favorite.

And I'm not kidding when I say that I'd want anyone who really wants something to get it ASAP - most cases anyway!

I didn't know I wanted the Jotum until I saw it - and it made me collect a PanO force.

But I certainly have been waiting for the Raicho for a while...

See, for me I'd love to add an Acontecimento Shock Army to my repertoire after the bit in Campaign: Paradiso about how the PanO warmachine sets into motion after a Tikabalang gets damaged by a lone Shasvastii sharpshooter.

It's just so...amusing the amount of a disproportionate response.

The original is already has too many Corregidor troops in it so they might change that.

If not, I think you are pretty close though. I can see those troops if not those particular weapons. That I can't guess. But would they have a Mobile Brigada in two different box sets? If not an MB then maybe a Tomcat?

To change the mix to something more marketable. The algies really need a rescupt like the did with yu jing zanshis.

Alguaciles are getting a resculpt and a box set. That's from Carlos at GenCon.

Likely, a recut Nomad Starter Box is going to be heavy on Securitate/Tunguska stuff since they're the last of the "units" which really need a lot of their profiles expanded.

Especially Securitate!

I think re-done sculpts will be big sellers for them.

Important to remember that the (tentatively named for the time being) next book, "Acheron Falls" is on track to include a Tunguska Sectorial so new Securitate would be the start of lightening the load for them down the line.

I would be all over a Nomad Corregidor box!

Well since it was mentioned at Gen Con even more I can see a basic starter box being before a Corregidor. I agree about Tungusta. I'd guess Algies, Secturitate, Specter or Zero again, Interventor?

I can see no logical sequence of events that make a basic starter box before Corregidor.

Why?

Because the Corregidor starter box is going to have 3x Wildcats, again from Carlos at GenCon.

I guess it would make sense to do Corregidor first because so many WANT it. Yes a General Nomads is needed but nobody wants it as much.

A general Nomads release is not really "needed" until the Alguaciles box comes out and Corregidor gets a box of their own.

Corregidor though do actually "need" a starter box of their own. It's nice that they're holding off and having the Wildcats as the "line infantry" in the box, but the fact that it took a second book and an entirely new unit to get a starter box for Corregidor is a bit silly.

It is obvious that CB listens when the whole forum agrees on the necessary release of a particular product.
