Here is my lates army, the Chaos Daemons. I have painted some of the older models over 8 years ago for my Slaanesh marine army, and some of the older daemon models were in my FB chaos warriors army. I put the FB models onto round bases and started adding new models to make a working 40K army out of them all. Here is what i got now. All the new models were painted in a month or so (including one daemon prince, 10 horrors and changeling, 10 plaguebearers, 11 screamers, blue scribes and 6 flamers). I am still adding some units to my army, but can do a working list from what i got allready. Anyways, here are the pics as this is a pics thread afterall

The full army

old slaanesh DP with new wings attatched latelly

New DP that i painted recently

Old FB DP that got a new base

Old KOS painted a looooooong time ago

Got this like two weeks ago...

Some old and new screamers mixed up together

These i painted last weekend in one go. Really fun to paint and fast

Painted these also a long time ago back in 3rd or 4th edition

Old FB horrors, notice i paint my horrors blue as i dislike them being pink

and recently purchased new horrors and a changeling

And last a mix of older and newer flamers

added some labels to the pictures to show which are lately painted and which have been painted for years. Thx for the comment btw Have been playing them at my local store and people have been amazed compared to armies they usually see there.

They look really nice all painted up. The screamers are probably my favorite. Much respect for having a fully painted force.

Very nice painting on these guys. If I could offer something, is the dead Space Marines look a little hokey. Never been a big fan of putting opposing force models in with my particular armies models. That Space Wolf is still holding his bolter even. Otherwise good stuff.

Yea, the space marines on the bases look a bit "off", but the BA one was done like 8 years ago, while the SW one i did recently. I didn't have proper materials to do any real work on the bases other than my usual basing, so the smaller DP base looked really empty without something, and a dead SW chopped in half was the only thing that came to mind.

Any ideas, what i should add to the army next? I'm getting a heralf of Tzeentch on disc soon but have not decided yet what after that. Don't want to get the soulgrinder, that is for sure. Maybe some seeker chariots?

The painting is great and the full army pic is impressive. Well done!

How about Kairos Fateweaver or a Lord of Change, I've always like those models. Dunno how they were affected in 6th ed. though.

Loving it, I would love to face them on the table!

Hmmm... I could possibly get fateweaver for tournament play and use him as a lord of change in friendly games. How about the seeker chariots? The models are cool but are they any good rules wise?

the horrors, flamers and screamers were painted with black primer. Then drybrush sotek green, then lothern blue, then a 50/50 mix of lothern blue and white. Some of the older models were painted with hawk turqoise and ice blue, which gave a bit different tint to the color.

added a poll about what i should get and paint next to my army... now am leaning towards getting fateweaver and some nurglings (nurglings just because they look so funny and will be fun to paint) Give me feedback and if you got a better idea on what to get and paint, please leave a comment below!

No Khorne! I hate the models and the fluff of them and don't want to get them. I had to think long about getting even the plaguebearers and nurglins, but the new models are so good that decided to get some into my army.
