My plan is to park the plague zombies on a backfield objective and keep the foot slogging PM back there to defend the zombies. The Dirgecaster rhino will charge towards any midfield targets that look assaultable and the other rhino just goes wherever it looks like it can do the most pain. Autocannon Helldrake is my anti-air and anti armor, Dakkafiend is anti-armor. The bikers go harass the backfield. Typhus & Co drop in and melta the living crap outta any deathstar or general unit.

Thoughts?

Rhinos don't really bring any pain. I'd drop all the upgrades to the rhinos except a dozer blade and they will likely be blown up before they do anything and their main purpose is to get you 18 inches up the field and into some 5+ cover (after which you cant even assault).

Forge fiends are much more effective with bullets instead of ecto-goop.

Get a land raider for typhus and his terminators or change to a bike nurgle lord becuase deep striking these guys is likely to get you blown up by plasma fire then insta-gibbed by some power weapon guys that charge you. Nurgle bike lords are awesome because they have T6 (no instant death except vs force weapons), I recommend the burning brand of setting fire to marines.

If you go with a land raider then maybe pick up a couple of vindicators since the LR will draw enemy anti tank fire.

Thanks! The fiend isn't clear, it actually is the Dakka fiend, just with am extra plasma head. I had been running it without it, three games do far, and I really missed that plasma cannon last game.

The plague marines are too small in squad numbers dude.... to be safe ( trust me in 5 man units they get wiped easier) boost them up to 7-8 man units. Running plasmas is pretty awesome. how about this

x4 Plague marine units
7 man units each
2 of the four units have 2x plasma guns
the other 2 have 2x plasma and run the four units in proximity of each other to cover each other.

Plague zombies. start them in reserve... sneak in off table and snatch some Objectives.....oh damn they are fearless......They cant go to ground..now that is a problem so i would drop typhus in that case for Nurgle lord. and there squad should be 15-20 man units instead so they can cover more than 1 obejective.

2 heldrakes are sweet with baleflamers IMO the hades autocannon on them kinda sux....

the biker squad could be dropped for more Forge feinds with Hades cannons... Ectoplasma is really a waste of points.. That Forgefeind is gonna stomp all the way acros the feild with range 24" kinda risky unless you risk the plagues in order to cover them... and hades....Hades are sooooooooooo sweet bro! range 48" S8 AP4 8 shots from each Feind! just way better

Automatically Appended Next Post:
Vindies are good! but i ran 3 with my thousand sons...Recently at a tourney all 3 matches my vindies were getting Blown up! before being within firing range. unless you cover them. but on the other hand if you get first turn.....Hit em hard with vindies... take out large targets that will hurt your troops and leave smaller troops for the plagues and heldrakes
