Does anyone want any Prussian Small flyers?

I bought 5 packages of the small flyers not doing the statistics in my head and have played them and never want to again.

I was debating on melting them down but if anyone wants them I will trade them or sell them to who ever wants them in the Southeastern Wisconsin area.

Not so hasty mate, its not that the stats are "bad", its that the small fliers of every nation have the same problem, they are built and stated with a single purpose in mind. PE get sub-killers. The problem is that there arnt many subs in use right now. The french small is worse than the jager, and the british medium is very meh. The only one getting any use was the japs Ika, but then they released the black wolf and that was ok too, and the CoA are getting a large sub, plus the russians are gossiped about getting a mass produced version of the black wolf. So id wait, its problem is you pay points for a counter against something that probably wont be on the table, but that IS slowly changing.

Also you may want to keep them in case you run a core air fleet to meet your min requirments

The air fleet possibilities are horrible for the Prussian Empire. I have attempted doing a core air fleet twice in the past and they both failed horribly. Also I like playing large and I mean large battles 2.5k to 5k battles. The aerials are very lackluster compared to all the other nations.

Ah but theres always the possibility of doing small games in campaigns or something! Ah well i guess, end of the day your choice but with how more subs are coming out just think they should be held off till they can be proven doing what they're MENT to do. Its like my nakatsus, easily candidate for worst cruiser in the game, up till they introduced reinforced squadrens, suddenly it became ok.

Wasnt aware about the crapness of PE air core tho D: shame such pretty zeppelins.

Oh with koenigsberg that just came out. I seriously hope that the playtesters and Spartan vanguards were sucking spartan games cock and put out another gak model because it is starting to become irritating as to whats coming out for certain fleets.

Il admit prussia has it a bit more hard up than other, but dont forget how they balance the fleets. Like the RC, great tough ships, next to no air support worthwhile.

Also the koenigsberg is the battlecruisers if you ment the new airship. It has been tested and there was a little "we can tell you this but not this" going on in the PE forum over at SG. Basically (apparently) makes the BB even more redundant. I mean look what you get in comparison, some damn nice frigates, some shiny minelayers, the rhine which is a perfectly capable workhorse and the metzgar. Its no different from japan, we get the worst cruiser in the game, a fairly crappy destroyer and the worst DN in existence. Every faction has dud units buddy.

If you meant the new large air, looking at the statcard for it seems its going to be more just for those faust-combat drops

Here is my problem with the battlecruiser and the naval side of the fleet in a overall sense. The "super" weapon doesn't corellate with the navy at all, what in the naval side has a fore or plausible RB 2 or 3 tesla coil other than the Dreadnought? (nothing)

I am guessing that the battlecruiser will be Dr 5 Cr 8, movement 8, RB 1-4 same amount of attacks as the BB that I don't even take anymore, no generators, and Broadside and aft tesla same as the Geweitterwolke.

you not read the stuff on it? Has some new mechanic using "tesla spears" that fixes the tesla problems of weak and weirdly aimed and i could swear i heard their getting tesla generators, less sure on that though. As for the problem with your "super weapon", look at the CoA E-turrets, similar problem, nice idea, too weak to do anything. But now they are getting a dedicated unit to fix that early next year.

I saw that new crap. I proxy stats I know, like the corvettes; I can't proxy those until they actually hit and thats an I don't know what they do or when they come out.

It is all a mystery til we see what the battlecruiser does.

Well the BC preorders are out, the onryo (what the japs got) has stats posted online already, just waiting for someone to share the battlecruisers. Plus even if you didnt, with SGs weird way of packing blisters vs unit sizes youd probably want a jager or two to fill in for a full squad anyway -_-

The japs stats aren't bad (not great) but still not bad. Honestly I think it will work in multiple battle lists. Its just wierd that the british and prussian players still have no idea what their ships do.

This possibly is one of the biggest releases since the Russian fleet appearing on the battle field.

Thats up for debate atm, still need to go look up what the sonic gens are next time im near the campaign book (we went for the books as group buys haha) but 2 questionable generators on something with fairly crappy aux stats at 85 points is a bit of a bite. Especially with just 1 turret for a weapon.

As for the Battle cruisers, eh could just be peoples stuff hasnt arrived yet. most people on there save the effort and just PM the stats straight to that "you_look_like_a_nail" guy or whatever so he can update the alt statcards. Plus the french and ruskies didnt even get a speculation thread for their new units.
