Can you stand and shoot with vehicles?

What do you mean by Stand and Shoot?
You can remain stationary with vehicles and still fire weapons, yes.
Could you describe the situation more?

Ok, well I'm assaulting his Hammerhead with my Deffkopta (  ) and he says he can overwatch with his railgun. Automatically Appended Next Post: Ummm, not to press but I'm in a hurry, so 
can you overwatch weapons that are not defensive?

What he said. The only way the actual vehicle can fire in an assault would be if it had a piece of wargear that triggered with the assault, like flechettes on tau vehicles.
