So recently I got to toying around with the idea of a list that uses Deathmarks as a centerpiece. Obviously, any such list would want to abuse Hunters from Hyperspace as much as possible. The problem is, I'm now stuck in a rut. I don't know what to do with the rest of the list. Here's what I came up with:

HQ:
Necron Overlord: Mindshackle, Warscythe, Command Barge (gauss) - 195 pts
Royal Court: 3 Despair-teks - 90 pts

Things I had considered: an Aegis Defense Line w/ Comms Relay to re-roll reserve rolls for my Night Scythes, upgrading Warriors to Immortals, dropping Annihilation Barges for Doom Scythes, Destruction-teks to turn off the sun.

You could beef up your squads? Add more night scythes for the warriors, and leave the ground guys as immortals

It's a matter of personal preference, but when playing Necrons I like to keep their squad sizes low. In my experience, it makes my opponent much more likely to ignore them in favor of other targets. Additionally, even a squad of five basic Warriors is pretty resilient against shooting attacks, and if I'm getting assaulted by something, I'm probably going to lose the assault whether I bring 5 Warriors or 20 (Sweeping Advance is something I tend to be pretty paranoid about as a Necron player - my dice love to roll high on Leadership checks).

Drop 2 warrior squads and add 3 nightscyhes with remaining points and points from 2 warrior squads. Your troops need some way of staying alive and of getting to an objective. As is your troops will die to a light breeze, its not hard to knock down 5 warriors to prevent their RP, and with no transportation/protection it is unlikely any will survive to get the opportunity to capture an objective.

This is actually what I would also suggest. Deathmarks are what? Good in a semi-competitive setting but nothing else.
