So I've looked around the bits sites, but to no avail, chaos marauder horsemen, while a good alternative, are way too expensive(like $12 for like 6-8) was wondering if anyone has any decent, cost effective space wolf head alternatives.

Puppetswar has some that look pretty cool. I've had really good luck using their bits for my Iron Warriors. http://puppetswar.com/product.php?id_product=8

What's wrong with the heads they come with? If you include the terry and TWC heads there are a ton of options and they are some of the most characterful faces (&hair) in any model range.

What are the "terry"? As for the bits, sure, I love them too, but some of them are meant for scouts, I just wanted as many guys to look different as possible is all.

there are lots of bearded heads that would be good for space wolves in the empire range

I looked at those too initially, and thought some of the flagellant heads would work, but not all. Oh well, I'll just GS some beards on existing models I have, thanks!

I saw those as well in my long quest for new bits, but realized that I couldn't find any bits dealers that sold them in anything other than a full pack.
As well as being expensive, just for new heads, and they are also have old-school viking helmets on, which would look odd with power armour
or otherwise. I think If I get tired of my current heads, and my GS skills prove lacking in custom making beards, ect, then I'll just get the Chaos maruader
horsemen heads, I'm sure my GS will be suitable though.
