Subject: Scout torsos versus Cadian torsos?

I was hoping someone could help me with some size comparisons. How wide is a SM Scout torso when compared to a Cadian torso? I am wanting to put Bolter arms on some Fantasy torsos and I need to know if I will have to convert Cadian arms, or if Scout arms will work just as well.

I attached the Heavy bolter from the SM scouts to a cadian torso without any problems (to create Sgt Harker). The gaps between the arms and the torso aren't flush but they can be covered with greenstuff or shoulder pads.

From what I remember, they are a bit too large as far as scale goes. Scouts are pretty bulky compared to Cadians

So if scout arms are slightly too bulky for Cadian and Fantasy torsos, there is a good chance Cadian arms could work on fantasy torsos?

Both would be AP2 when wielded by a daemon prince.

The Daemon Prince could be wielding guardsmen and scouts!

The scout arms don't look any more unusual than the rest GW's heroic scale. The figure looks really buff, but that's kinda expected of a IG character wielding a heavy bolter.
Cadian arms work pretty well on fantasy. At least based off of the kit bash's I've seen.

I've used Cadian arms on Empire militia, and vice versa. Some repositioning/filling on occasion, and Cadian hands tend to be chunkier than WFB hands, but they go together quite well with the bodies. I made some Militia/Cadian mashup Delaque conversions for Necromunda... trying to dig out pics...
