Very good painting. I couldn't do that many basic marines, I need more fluff to differentiate the models. Hence why I picked the BT. Lots of fluff. More power to you!

I like how you made each of their poses a bit different. Did you have to use green stuff to achieve that or was there enough variety in the stock bits?

I have a hard time not doing identical poses on my Ork Boyz (especially shootas) without making them look strange.

Around 70 hours, probably more. I spent around 8-10 hours just on the heads. a commission almost always takes me longer than i think it will.

Thanks. I tried to differentiate them from one another, there's quite a bit of death company mixed in for added flavor.

PM me about commission.

Did the client not want the canon marking scheme - no squad markings or sergeant / squad leader variants?

no.

he picked all his weapons. the squad leaders have death company torsos, heads, left shoulder pads, jump packs, converted lightning claws and such.

if someone wanted specific squad marks it would be no trouble to do.

PM me about commission.

Very swish, I especially like how you blackened the jump pack thrusters. Its the little things that count.

Nice and clean cut. They look great together.

They are exactly that, blood droplet details on the Jump Pack. It's from the Death Company box.

They are some exceptionally well painted models.

The basing is really good too.

I especially like the Lightning Claw, rather partial to them.

If anyones interested, here's a complete back shot i decided to take before wrapping them up

They look boarderline washed out and glossy in the close ups which is odd considering theyve been dullcoated. Im thinking too much light was pumped onto them, I need to work on my photography.

Thinning your paints down alot will help. i basically glazed the eyes with white and scorpion green.

Low 4 figures but that includes other models besides these.
