Hey guys, I'm pretty new to Dark Eldar, being an Ork player most of my 40k career, so my DELDAR-FU isn't the strongest. I've had success with my 750pt list so far, and I was wondering what I could add to this all-comers list to make the jump to larger games.

HQ: Haemonculus: Liquifier Gun/Scissorhand/Agonizer

Troops: Wyches x10 RazorFlails/Shardnet+Impaler/Haywire Grenades + Raider/Disintegrator Cannon
Troops: Kabalite Warriors x10 Splinter Cannon + Raider
Troops: Wracks x5 + Raider

FA: Reaver x3
FA: Reaver x3

Comes to about 742 Points.Any Suggestions?

By my math you only have 697 points so far, so plenty to spend on upgrades.

The hamey does not need an agonizer. Scissorhand+liquifier is a good combo, but the agonizer is too much to put on a hamey.

Consider giving the wytch raider aethersails, and consider splinter racks for the kabbie raider.

Wracks get access to liquifier guns for every 5 models, so throw one in that squad. Also consider aethersails here.

The reavers could use some AT weapons. Haywire blasters are slightly more effective within 9", but blasters are better against T5 and up. Take whichever suits your meta. Cluster caltrops are expensive, but also a viable option.

Look into getting some more AT for larger point games. A couple of ravagers/voidravens/razorwings would do well. Making the reaver squads bigger, or adding trueborn in venoms. Could get more wracks, and throw the wytches in venoms with haywire grenades only, run the wracks in larger squads.

Would a Hekatrix for the Wyches be a good choice going up? I'm thinking maybe running her with an agonizer/blast pistol.

And good call on the splinter racks. I totally missed those

A hekatrix is alright, although an agonizer is not what it used to be. Venom blades are better against just about everything but MEQ, and blast pistols are overcosted(considering how good haywire grenades are anyways). Some people take PGL's for the stealth cover save on overwatch.

Nightshields on the kabbie raider is also a good idea.

Okay, I've reworked my 750 list a bit, and I like the idea of flyer support for the army as my points cost go up. Suggestions? Bomber or fighter?

HQ: Haemonculus
- Liquifier Gun
-Scissorhand

Troops: Wracks x5
- Liquifier Gun
Dedicated Transport: Raider

Troops: Wyches x10
- Razorflails
- Shardnet + impaler
Hekatrix
-Agonizer
Raider

Troops: Kabalite Warriors x10
- Splinter Cannon
Raider
- Splinter Racks

Fast attack: Reavers x3
- Blaster

Fast attack: Reavers x3
- Blaster

Comes to 747 if my maths are right.

Looking good, although I only get 737, enough for night shields for the kabbies, sails for the wracks/wytches or another wrack.

Razorwing is good for killing large hordes on foot with the missiles. Voidraven is dedicated AT and AA, and a bit more survivable. Both benefit from the flickerfield. If you go razorwing keep the dark lances as you might need it to shoot at another flier. The monoscythe missiles are fine for the razorwing. Shatterfield are the best missiles for either if you want to upgrade. Lack anti infantary, take the razorwing. Need more AT/AA, grab the voidraven. Of course, in larger point levels you could always take more than 1 flier.

hey dude!

like you I was an ork player for most of my 40k career too before I started using the space pixies. Its actually not as bad of a transition as people might think because orks and de have something in common and thats a lack of armour of any kind.

Now as far as the list goes I agree that the reavers should have heat lances or blasters, preferably heat lances because as mentioned they are better at popping vehicles. Also I would probably swap the squad size between the wracks and wyches and have just five plain wyches with HWG's and ten wracks with 2 liquifier guns. Wyches are unfortunately not too good in cc this edition, but are great at wrecking vehicles, so five is all that you need to blow up pretty much any vehicle in a turn, just know that they will probably die soon after though. Best of luck!

Okay, I played a few games with the following list, and the razorwing is an amazing addition to the army! Lots of pew pew to support the Raiders. If I make the jump to 1500 I'm sure to add another Razorwing to the bunch.

HQ: Haemonculus
- Liquifier Gun
-Scissorhand

Troops: Wracks x9
- Liquifier Gun
Dedicated Transport: Raider

Troops: Wyches x10
- Razorflails
- Shardnet + impaler
Hekatrix
-Agonizer
Raider
- Aethersails

Troops: Kabalite Warriors x10
- Splinter Cannon
Raider
- Splinter Racks
- Nightshields

Fast attack: Reavers x3
- Blaster

Fast attack: Reavers x3
- Blaster

Heavy Support: Razorwing Jetfighter
- x2 Shatterfield Missiles
- Flickerfield
- Splinter Cannon

Brings it up to 977, so I've got a bit left over for upgrades. Any suggestions?

Juice up your wrack squad with an acohyst. He provides leadership, a special weapon and somebody to keep challenges away from the warlord. Give him a cool toy of your choosing. If you have any spare points, get aethersails on the wrack raider to get multiple threats to the enemy lines turn 1.

Okay, so my list has a LOT of raiders. And while being the fastest there is is a REWARDING experience, how well does webway perform this edition?

semi bad to semi terrible their not unusuable, but they require a lot of careful planning ahead to be used affectively. why no hwg's on the wyches?

I knew there was something I was forgetting.I've been using them WITH HWG, but now the question is, did I pay for them >_>?
