That is dishonest. A Codex allows play of a Faction. The FW stuff expands upon those factions. They are apples and oranges and you no that. I am not saying this as an attack on FW, but it is what it is man.
In the same way White Dwarf expands upon the codex once in a while, like the Daemons update.

People seem to talk a lot about individual models, what are people's experiences with the lists? I have found them all to be quite fun, at least the ones I have used or faced. That would be me using ABG or facing siege, dread mob or tyrant's, as those are all I have seen. I don't think that any of them are too powerful, as long as the opponent isn't completely under gunned against tanks and terrain is done well. I like the Tyrant's legion, it is a Guard/ SM ally force done better I think.

The time's I've used any of them, played against them, or watched them played I haven't really noticed any real issues aside from a local tournament with an Eldar player fighting an ABG that only brought two units of 5 Fire Dragons for AT and nothing else higher than S6 in the entire army
The Elysian list frightens a lot of people, but it can't just stuff everything in flyers or it loses turn 1 and has some issues in that the infantry don't get to carry as many guns as often as codex units do.

New Heavy Gear Log! Also...Grey Knights!
The correct pronunciation is Imperial Guard and Stormtroopers, "Astra Militarum" and "Tempestus Scions" are something you'll find at Hogwarts. |

I won quite a few games with my list, but I think its due to the fact that the Hades Breaching Drill is a game changer at 750 pts.

Up until now at least, they made it largely useless and in fact a liability in the new IG Imperial Armour update book sadly.

There was nothing dishonest about this at all, it's how I see it. So please don't tell me what I know. I take THAT personally.
I do apologize man, spellcheck got me. It was meant to be disingenuous, not dishonest. I was also in a hurry and did not make it clear as I should. I did not mean however to make it seem I called you a liar.

Yeah, the same way man. Its an expansion. As I said, I was not bashing FW, but it is an expansion, that is not in itself a bad thing.
Is like back in the 90's when FASA moved the battletech timeline forward and brought in the clans and expanded the weapons, armor , units and so forth. It was offical, but it was also an expansion not everyone willingly played. To this day you have folks who will only played the 3025 era and that in itself is not a bad thing.

I am aware of these, so basically, small blast str 8 ap 1, and the vehicles mishap, yeah, still doing fine, the engineers make most of the damage.
Just last game, I killed 4 Black Templars and a Reclusiarch when it came, Engineer squad 1 blew itself up with the demo charge, squad #2 killed the Emperor Champion and 2 Initiates, shotguns took care of the rest.
