About a month ago I got hired by Brush4Hire to do commission painting, here is my first set of work:

These are the recent Yme-Loc Eldar that I painted for B4H (Brush 4 Hire: http://www.brush4hire.com/) I painted the primary models and details while Austin went back in with the air brush to wrap up the bases as well as to touch up stuff that I might have missed, he also touched up the vehicles and painted the canopy of the Waveserpent.

If you might be interested in getting something painted head on over to: https://www.facebook.com/Brush4HireMiniatures.

Please like and subscribe (youtube: https://www.youtube.com/user/Brush4Hire) if you like what you see.

Also, to help spread the word Austin is doing a contest right now, winner gets a 1500pt army of their choice ($300 limit) which will also be painted by B4H. The winner can be from anywhere worldwide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VgtCkmpFZ0Q

I hope everyone likes the work

Not bad. I don't care for the bases because they seem unfinished. They look like an afterthought, especially the WW base bits.

If that's what the client wanted, all good. OTOH, good bases go a long way.

Austin prepared/painted the bases, I only did the models. I do agree with you though.

You're certainly entitled to your opinion.

The War Walker looks good. The base, looks unfinished and lets the model down

'Tis wraithbone bases, I presume. Nothing wrong with them. Add nice contrast to the intensity of the colour scheme.

These are amazing. And let me congratulate you on your new job. I hope you enjoy it, if i had the skill i would love to paint minis for a living!

Secondly can i ask if you are a airbrush painter? Your shadowing is extremely good.

Once again awesome models, thanks for sharing.

Hopefully one day i'll have an army!

Thanks for the congratulations, it is nice to be able to say I am painting as a job, but unfortunately it is still low income, economy isn't the greatest and commissions can only charge so much and when you calculate the time put into painting (hours) far more hours go into them than would go into a normal part time job for the same pay, that being said however, I do have the benefit at painting in a home and listening to audiobooks/watching netflix while I paint so that is a plus.

All of the infantry presented I did by hand, the vehicles I did by hand but air brush was used to add depth/apply wash effects. The bases were simply air brushed (boss man did the air brushing seen). So long answer is, I essentially did the hand stuff Austin did the air brush touch ups, that being said he is trying to encourage my development of air brush skills to help get models painted quicker. If you are interested in learning he has done a lot of air brush tutorial videos for MWG

The client wanted some type of 'indoor ship theme.'
