Subject: Zeno vs Xeno

This is irritating me... I've seen too many people type "Zeno" instead of the correct Xeno. People, come on... In every codex that uses the word, it is XENO. It comes from Latin meaning foreign, which in modern day is alien.
Franchise crossover. Xenomorphs from the Aliens franchise. Xenomorph means "foreign shape"
Please for the love of the Emperor, use the proper spelling! The pronunciation of a word does NOT match the spelling. Yes, English is weird like that. Dealwithit.jpg and please use the proper spelling from now on.
I could rant about a few other things that follow that same line, but I'm not going to due to not seeing them too often... Or even care to remember the specific ones right now.

It could just be an honest typo. The "Z" key is right next to the "X" key so it isn't too hard to imagine someone accidently hitting the wrong key (though admittedly in this case it also comically fits with how the word is said).
But yeah, I haven't seen it written as "Zeno" apart from this particular thread.

Same could be said of poor spelling, grammar, and punctuation. It's codices. Codex's is a possessive. XD
But I will give you the fact that people don't know codices (or matrices for matrix) because it isn't used often in media, electronic or otherwise.

According to the history, Dakka Dakka has only said Zeno 2 times in the past month, and not even 5 Zeno's have been uttered outside this thread. In fact, Zeno has now been said more times in this thread than any other, extrapolating the problem by reminding us that Xenos is being spelled wrong as Zenos. This post alone has now quadrupled the rate of occurrence in the past month and now, Zenos, has equaled the amount of times it has appeared in the history of Dakka - bar this thread.

Actually Xeno is the greek for alien. (that is to say, alien as in foreigner. It has been appropriated to the modern usage of alien as in space alien)
