Drop the musicians on your slaves and take more slaves (slaves dont need command, that's a waste of points )

Sounds good, once i bump up to 3k, im gonna add 40 storm vermin and make the slaves blocks of 40.

I disagree, slaves need musicians for the movement phase and swift reforms, standards are a waste though. And you are spot on with the fencer's blades comment.

Also, drop the magic banner, and make your BSB survivable, or give him the standard of discipline/storm banner. Give the condenser to the doomrocket engineer and combine the slave units

Actually, the Fencer's Blades work well for a Grey Seer. While he can retreat up the Bell to avoid a challenge, he can't do it against attacks from Rank and File. WS 10 means most rank & file will only hit him on a 5+, reducing the number of incoming wounds by a third.

I have to agree with thedarkavenger. Your BSB is even more important to your army than your general. Rerolls to break tests will save you far more often than the increased LD of the Seer. Give him a defensive loadout, not a magic banner.

I feel like this list could benefit from a unit or two of gutter runners.

You have no answers to war machines right now and a 3 very nice targets for enemy war machines to plink at.

I would think about removing the wizard level from the orb and doom rocket engineers. They don't need to be wizards and your grey seer is more than capable of eating up all of your power dice.
