Ok So heres the skinny. My girlfriend after seeing Abyslonia has decided she would like to play legion. Fine with me since Ive been looking at circle for awhile and didnt want to just grab them for the hey of it. Now Im thinking of grabbing the two player battle Box as well as an Abyslonia ( bringing the legion up to 2 carniveans 8 shredders and a unit of spear throwers and a kromac ( Dude looks awesome and from what I've read he's a fairly beast heavy dude, which I like). Any suggestions for starting a Kromac list? Was also thinking about getting a unit of tharn wolf riders or tharn ravagers... Keep in mind that I'll already have a Feral warp wolf, and what ever else comes in the 2 player hordes box. Also before I grab him what are your opinions on Kromac as a caster and maybe any opinions on circle in general?

Kromac is a very strong beast caster himself. He likes to bring a warpwolf stalker as a hit and run beatstick and enjoys having a couple of capable ranged attackers in his mostly-melee force. It would behove you much more to get the officer for the skinwalker unit (which comes in the two-player starter) due out in January than to get a whole new unit.
If you get a plastic warpwolf kit the same time as your stater you can magnetize the feral that comes in your starter to have a little more variety. The list below includes a pureblood and a stalker that you can make out of the two-player starter and a single plastic wolf kit with a few magnets. Heck, the arms and heads might be snug enough you don't need the magnets.
I suggest this list as something to build toward with Kromac. Start small though, learn the game with the battlegroups in the two-player box, then switch casters, then try adding units, then try 25 and 35 point games.
Points: 35/35
Kromac the Ravenous (*4pts)
* Winter Argus (5pts)
* Pureblood Warpwolf (9pts)
* Warpwolf Stalker (10pts)
Warpborn Skinwalkers (Leader and 4 Grunts) (8pts)
*Warpborn Alpha (3pts)
Lord of the Feast (4pts)

Ok, For ranged units, I was looking at the druids of orboros. How well do those stack up?

Very favorably.
The druid unit has a whole lot of utility and can enhance probably 90% of all circle lists. Make sure to get their officer too.
They aren't necessarily super accurate, long ranged, or extrodinarily powerful, but being able to draw in targets to set up charges and potentially knock them down make them ideal ranged support for a melee minded army.

Alright Heres the 25 point list list as I plan on starting it.
Kromac (*4)
*Feral Warpwolf (9)
*Winter Argus (5)
*Argus (4)
Full unit ofWarpborn Skinwalkers (8)
Shifting Stones (2)
Stone keeper UA (1)
From there I will probably want to grab either a Warpwolf Stalker, ( the forums seem to think He and kromac have a legendary bromance going on) Or Either a unit of druids, or wolf riders.... depending on a lot of things... though honestly Im kinda falling in love with the Circle's fluff and models, especially the Tharn.

The wolf riders are a good unit, but cavalry in general require more experience and finesse than normal units. You'll probably want to save them for when you have two or three warlocks your comfortable with and your ready to step up to 50 point games.
The stones are also a great choice for yours, and most circle lists, and fill the void that the unreleased warpborn alpha leaves very well. You are definitely on the right track, you just need a little practice.

Cool, well After everything I've gotten a few games in with the two player box and at my FLGS I'll try some fancier stuff.

As much as on paper I dislike the winter argus, it's been a surprisingly fun little puppy. He still hasn't found a home in my tournament level Kromac lists, but I have used him effectively with pkaya quite a bit.
I like the Kromac list you're running, but as stated before (and by you) get a stalker asap, and a gorax. It's a bromance love triangle with those three. There is pretty much nothing safe from a wild aggressioned - primaled stalker.
EDIT: And two stones units, for a while I switched down to a single stones + UA, but missed that double teleport sooooo much. The skeleton of any Kromac list I make looks something like:
Kromac
Stalker
Gorax
Stones + UA
Stones
After that, it's just add what feels like fun, be it argus, ghettorix (my favorite), skinwalkers, etc. When the alpha model is released, I'm pretty sure max walkers with alpha will be in this list permanently, they just look so good not to. That being said, if you want to learn the ins and outs of Kromac, there's a great write up over on the PP Circle forums about him, it's what I read when I got started. I've ventured off it to match my area's meta, but it's a great place to start and to understand how cool this caster is.
Good Luck and have fun with him, I really haven't started a second caster (eBaldur a little) because Kromac is just so much fun to play.
