So I'm trying to match up R'myr with a solid bodyguard, given his close combat capabilities I'm half tempted to run him with two suits running Flamers and just charge in, but I love his longer range AP and I'm also tempted to pair him with some assisting crisis suits armed likewise.

So for those who run him, what do you pair with him to get the most effect? And which drones do you run?

R'myr doesn't have close combat capability. He has slightly better defense and might be able to avoid the inevitable death slightly longer than most Tau units, but you never want him in combat.

There is no such thing as a hobby without politics. "Leave politics at the door" is itself a political statement, an endorsement of the status quo and an attempt to silence dissenting voices.

I idiotically learned this last night.

I also learned I am not really a fan of Flamers on my Crisis Suits.

Flamers are good in the event you face against a horde list or in the event you get charged. Personally I just add them to T/L missile pods just because they are a cheap and fill the last hard point on suits.

I'm expecting an Imperial Knights supplement dedicated to GW's loyalist apologetics. Codex: White Knights "In the grim dark future, everything is fine."

"The argument is that we have to do this or we will, bit by bit,
lose everything that we hold dear, everything that keeps the business going. Our crops will wither, our children will die piteous
deaths and the sun will be swept from the sky."

Why not?
Get close and flame away without the fear of being charged (if you run twin-linked that is)

After all, even if you do get charged, overwatch will hurt alot-and the suit is cheap anyway!

can neither confirm nor deny I lost track of what I've got right now.
