System: Hordes
Faction: Legion of Everblight
Casters: 1/1
Points: 35/35
Lylyth, Shadow of Everblight (*5pts)
* Nephilim Bolt Thrower (6pts)
* Nephilim Bolt Thrower (6pts)
* Ravagore (10pts)
Blighted Nyss Raptors (Leader and 2 Grunts) (6pts)
Blighted Nyss Striders (Leader and 5 Grunts) (6pts)
* Blighted Nyss Striders Officer & Musician (3pts)
Blighted Nyss Shepherd (1pts)
Succubus (2pts)

The strategy is fairly obvious, I think. Feat gets popped on the second turn - hopefully the Bolt throwers will beat back some big targets while Ravagore makes it a huge pain for infantry. With any luck this gives me an extra turn to launch another volley, and then it's just a matter of cleaning up.

You need a Naga Nightlurker for its Wraithbane animus. You could swap out a Bolt Thrower for one. At this point though, you damage output is low. My 35 point list has 2 Ravagores in it.

Yeah? I don't really know if having that around just for its animus is strictly necessary though. If I wanted to add a second Ravagore I guess I could do something like this:

System: Hordes
Faction: Legion of Everblight
Casters: 1/1
Points: 35/35
Lylyth, Shadow of Everblight (*5pts)
* Nephilim Bolt Thrower (6pts)

Blighted Nyss Shepherd (1pts)
Strider Deathstalker (2pts)
Succubus (2pts)

Wkraithbane allows you to blast eDenny on her feat turn. She will be incorporeal that turn. You can ignore iron flesh, defender's ward, arcane shield and every other buff that ruins a feat turn for us.

My list goes like this:
ELylith
2x Ravagore
Bolt thrower
Naga
Succubus
2x Deathstalkers
2x Shepherds.

More importantly, you need the naga to shoot menoth jacks. As a menoth player, it is my most hated model in the game

This is the 35 pt list I run. There is a free pt open and I've run different things, but Swamp Gobbers are the most common.

Watch yourself. pLylith has 6 beast points, while eLylith only has 5.

Correct, and the following list is only 34 of 35 pts.

ELylith +5
2x Ravagore 20
Bolt thrower 6
Naga 5
Succubus 2
2x Deathstalkers 4
2x Shepherds. 2

34 Pts.

There is one point open for Swamp Gobbers or whatever else. I suppose you could upgrade a shep to a Forsaken, but I prefer Shepherds with the Ravagores.

My bad, for some reason I thought the Naga was 6. Goes to show you, I'd be willing to pay a point more for that beast. It's that good.

Anyway, I'd probably swap a shepherd for a forsaken. It can do its job from further away and threaten certain army builds.

No worries, its an easy thing to overlook. I usually compare it with the Black Frost Shard since they cost the same and do similar things for our faction.

I play against Trolls a great deal, and the Naga doesn't shine quite as much against their buffs, but against a lot of other matchups its a great model and is totally worth its points.

Okay, this all sounds like pretty good advice. I'm probably going to do something like:

eLylyth +5
Ravagore 10
Ravagore 10
Bolt Thrower 6
Naga 5
Succubus 2
Deathstrider 2
Deathstrider 2
Forsaken 2
Shepherd 1

I feel like the forsaken is a good option here because anything that makes it through is going to get hit with a huge pow 8 + 7d6 damage roll when it jumps out from behind the Ravagore it's been feeding off of.

At 50 points I'll probably expand with another Bolt Thrower and some striders + UA.
