Well I think if this is purely for fun you might want less flamers otherwise I would suggest trading out the flesh hounds.

Doubt is the open gate through which slips the most fatal of enemies.

You lack a little in the heavy hitting department. personally what i like about the Chaos daemons codex is the big hitters, the tough daemon princes for hq and heavy support. plus when my keep of secrets gets slay the warlord and takes 2-3 veichles with him every game thats where the fun it haha

Yeah i was think about the bloodthirster (duh) for an HQ, what's better, the skulltaker with his awesome fluff, stuffed onto a jugger with a crusher squad, being somewhat overlooked and he wrecks in CC, or a thirster with an omnipotent stat line, that probably gets fired at first by everything. also is it possible to take thirster as a 2nd HQ? idk a list full of crushers and flesh hounds just sounded kinda amusing, i really like the skulltakers fluff

So, 6 Flamers is not 210 points, it's 138 points.

The heavy hitters in the Chaos Daemons codex are Flamers and Screamers. KoS is a little underwhelming nowadays, pricey, can be wrecked with grenades in CC, doesn't fly.

Deamon princes and a bLoodthirster don't count as heavy hitters?

Can anyone address this?

Also what about replacing the flamers with fiends?

Not really. For the points, nothing in the codex can put the beat down nearly as much as Flamers. Your 270 point Bloodthirster could be replaced with 11 Flamers (253 points). That's 22 wounds of jump infantry that can wound anything besides flyers on a 4+.

Personally, if I had to choose between the two options, I would go with Skulltaker and the Crushers. The Bloodthirster is going to get shot down before you can blink, as he will be a huge target that most people fear. Skulltaker and the Crushers are going to die pretty quick as well, as they don't move very fast and people will see them as a big threat if they get close.

Honestly, in the current edition, both are pretty meh. Tzeentch Heralds on discs (no other upgrades) coupled with large squads of flamers=win.

Couple these with small squads of horrors with bolt (and Changeling in one) and medium-sized plaguebearer squads for objective squatting, and you will crush your opponents.

Bad idea there. You are talking about replacing one of the best units in the game, easily the best unit in the codex, with one that is just pretty good. Fiends do well, but Flamers are better.

If you want some multi-wound CC punch, go with Screamers. S5, ap2 attacks with armorbane on a very fast, 2 wound model is hard to beat.

I usually run one 6 man unit of flamers and I have run both 6x crushers/6x Fiends and 12x Fiends. The crushers with the fiends are a better combination - I also like them with the screamers because they bring extra staying power with T5 and 3+.

I think the ideal setup is probably 2 units of screamers and 2 units of flamers. Crushers for the last elite slot since the Screamers take care of the kill terminators role (along with the flamers)

Well is it possible to have three units of bloodcrushers, each with an hq ( skulltaker on jugger, 2 heralds on juggers) i feel like that would be pretty fun, is that a plausible element to a list

Definitely possible, and if this list is just for fun, go for it. If you are going for competitive, not really.

In 5th, Fatecrusher was really good, but with the changes to the edition, Crushers are the third best option for your elites slot. (Flamers>Fiends>Crushers)

I have run Crushers some in 6th, and they aren't terrible, they work nicely for soaking up some wounds, as a lot of people are still pretty terrified of them. This allows your Screamers and Flamers a little extra time to get in and do their jobs while people kill the crushers.

If you want to run crushers to actually kill things, and not just for a bullet sponge, try running 2 large squads with Skulltaker and another herald on juggernauts. Take your third elites slot as a large mob of Flamers.
Use the Flamers to herd people towards your 2 mobs of Crushers.

I like it. How large of squads are we talking? Lets say for a 2k list, also i like the sound of lots of fleshounds, i heard they don't do half bad against grey knights and it sounds fun running allot of breasts across the board so what would my troop be in that case

Haha what would happen with a list consisting of 3 squads of bloodcrushers and 3 of fleshounds

In 2k two squads of 5 are fine, i just go for one big unit of 8 they can take a lot of punishment aswell, t5 wid 2 wounds each is nice n they are still ok in combat just not against terminators, mega nobz etc but can still hurt against pretty much anything else, but i would not suggest running more than 2 squads of 5 at 2k they are really expensive for what they do, hopefully in the new codex it will get ammended.
