Help me decide on an army!

Basically in my foolishness over the years I have collected many army's, however I cannot decide which on to play I have a large and lovingly converted warriors of chaos army, a smaller dark elves army, gak loads (I mean like 8000 points worth) of vampire counts but I need an army to settle on. Can you leave any suggestions and why?

Well since you already have the armies you seem to like the look of, you probably should think about how your play style is.

Warriors are going to be your blunt force instrument, DE are going to rely more on magic & elite troops, Vamps are usually known for having a super powerful Lord leading (& raising) hordes of not so great troops that wear down & overrun the enemy.

Yeah I'm being swayed towards vampire counts purely on the awsome vampires, warriors of chaos are my favourites currently though.

I love my vampire counts.
They are a recent book that has some very good internal balance so all the options are viable. You can play it in so many ways, lots of big monsters, all ghouls, massive hordes, (mostly) mounted, ethereal everywhere, lots of scream attacks and, oddly enough vampire free.

Also there is something immensely satisfying about being charge in the rear by a hellpit abomination, sending your vampire to the back of the unit and tearing it to pieces.

Im so tempted by an all-mounted VC army... damn you for putting that idea in my cranium!

Yeah that would be awsome. I have a vampire heavy army, lots of blood knights, varguhlfs and maxed out lord and hero slots. They are very powerful and cool the rest is skeletons and zombies...

All mounted can't be done, there's no mounted Core. Even if you cheat and use Dire Wolves... you'd be fielding close to a hundred Dire Wolves for a 2500pt game. And severely lacking banners.

Warhammer Vampires are immensely pleasing in general. They're what Vampires should be.

Yes but say 4 units of 5 wolves, a unit or two of skeletons/zombies/ghouls, 2 units of hexwriaths and 15 black knights with characters is close enough.
