Well, that's it. I'm living in London and I would like to meet w40k players to learn and play

At the moment, I'm living in All Saints, but I'll move soon... but I can't remember now the adress, I will write here down when I get it ^_^

We have a small group of infrequent gamers. Mainly 30+ ages.

Come along to Clapham - we're easy to get to on the tube or train. 40K escalation just started and still taking people, but loads of other stuff happening as well!

From All Saints is a doddle - DLR to the Northern Line, then straight down. Used to use a similar route myself when I lived in Rotherhithe.

@Ianslomoscott - whereabouts in London are you?

Obviously there's Games Workshop, oxford street isn't too bad. I'm a regular there, and you're free to come along.

I don't prefer Games Workshop, but I have not found the right club yet. But here's some clubs you might be interested in:

There's Cross Gaming outside of London Bridge (St Christophers Inn)

IThere's Clapham Wargamers, as already mentioned

I've also been told of Angel Wargamers in.... well, Angel
But have yet visited.

Hopefully that give you somewhere to start.
You can always contact me for a game if you find somewhere

Angel Wargamers is a new one on me.

Reading through the forum it looks like a shop based club, so restricted to GW games only.

@Blackgaze - have you been to Clapham yet?

Yeah, it's been a while but if its the pub that i'm thinking of, it was nice. But it's generally too long to get there for me, and the person I played against wasn't the most sporting. it be better for my local London residents (i'm out from south-east)

SE London is a bit of mare for getting about easily, I find - all those trains and buses not quite linking up. I know of a good group around the Dulwich area as well, but thats a home based group (although quite open, not really 40K gamers - mordheim and the like)
