Automatically Appended Next Post: My friend just pointed out to me that the "X" legendary looks like it has Christmas decorations on it.

I think that the Grass/Fight, Fire/Psy, and Water/Dark is a good idea because you have the advantage of two types as well as the need for trainers to train other Pokémon

They've been named in the UK BEFORE Japan. Wow.

I like the look of the legendaries. Haven't owned a poke game since Emerald and the last one I played was Diamond. I had great times playing Sapphire against my friend's Ruby in Year Two. He used to play nearly every day for 2 hours + whilst I only could play once a week for an hour. He had a level 75 groudon that would stomp my Kyogre into the ground with Earthquake. Then I got my Kyogre to 50 or something and his was still in the 70s. Hydro Pump or something knocked him out. The look on his face was priceless!
Picked up a 3DS XL just for this, thought I'd get it now, as a little something from Microsoft might be requiring a lot of my monies come the latter half of the year.
Grabbed Pokemon Black as well so my eldest lad can have a go before this arrives.

Though I still dont get why fighting is good against dark. (Yes, applying logic to pokemon I know)
Fighting is all about honourable, 1 on 1 challenge against an opponent, Dark is all about sneaking up on somebody and being dirty as hell about it. Essentially, it means that in a legit fight with nowhere to hide or ability to cheat, Fighting pummels Dark.
We need more things good against dark
No we don't. Fighting is one of the best offensive types in the game. And besides, Dark isn't a particularly great offensive type anyway.

They're not being localised this time. We're seeing the first time they've had a global release.
Also they put up the pronunciations ZURR-nee-us and ee-VELL-tall. Which as a guestimation makes them ザニオス (Zanios) and イベタル (Ibetaru).
I think I finally see a pokemon game I am staying the hell away from..... sure its cool that they upped the graphics but sadly the pokemon themselves look like utter garbage now that they have lost their sprite charm and gone to full on objects. The starters look decent though.
Well, this is obvious. But most drawing programs these days have the ability to emulate watercolour/pencil crayons/whateverthehelltheyusedtouse fairly well.
What's more, the current artstyle allows them to get away with some really artificial looking work. I'd attribute the blandness of the last 2-3 generations' designs to not just to running out of ideas, but to an artstyle that encourages flat, overly deformed designs.

Male sure you register it with Club Nintendo, as you can get a free download of one of 5 decent games.

I'm disappointed that Bulbasaur didn't get a Lemon Mortar attack.
Mandorallen turned back toward the insolently sneering baron. 'My Lord,' The great knight said distantly, 'I find thy face apelike and thy form misshapen. Thy beard, moreover, is an offence against decency, resembling more closely the scabrous fur which doth decorate the hinder portion of a mongrel dog than a proper adornment for a human face. Is it possibly that thy mother, seized by some wild lechery, did dally at some time past with a randy goat?' - Mimbrate Knight Protector Mandorallen.

"You need not fear us, unless you are a dark heart, a vile one who preys on the innocent; I promise, you can’t hide forever in the empty darkness, for we will hunt you down like the animals you are, and pull you into the very bowels of hell." Iron - Within Temptation
It's been seen to use a wide variety of moves, including electrical and fire moves as well as Swift and what looked like Final Gambit.
