OK - my codex is on the way. But I'm sure it will take time to get here. Can anyone tell me if Cypher is in the new Codex. He wasn't listed in the Chaos one and is usually in the DA on but you never know.

Plus I have heard a rumor he is a later sculpt release for late in FY 2013 from a guy who went to one of the Nottingham expo things.

The codex isn't going to be released for nearly a week, we have no way of knowing until certain until then.

The fans want Cypher...........so doubtful youll get him.

Well, Cypher is still around as a model, but others like Doomrider are gone, so it's still a distinct possibility.

There is a theory kicking around that Cypher was intented to be the extra model in Dark Vengeance, but was pulled at the last minute and replaced with a Chaplain. That might explain something.

Ultimately, however, Cypher is an odd character. He first appeared in the 2nd Edition Chaos Codex, but referred to rules in the (IIRC) Ultramarine Codex (could have been Angels of Death, though). He then seemed to move around a little, not really having a home. He's not really Chaos, and he is most certainly not Loyalist (from a conventional point of view). I would hazard that we have a hiher chance of seeing him in a future expansion that in any codex.

I have to say I really want to see some kind of WD update pack for a fallen army including him as the main HQ

Quick correction. Cypher has NEVER been in a dark angel codex. He is a traitor. He is not a DA. The "new sculpt" rumor that was going around was because cypher was suppose to be the limited edition model in the starter set. This was supposedly true but was scrapped by GW.
